Deus Ex HumΔn Revolution
In the Deus Ex games, augmentations are body modifications that allow the user superhuman abilities. While augmentations in the first two games were nanotech, Human Revolution is set prior to both and instead features mechanical augmentations. These will be divided into four types: Combat, Stealth, Technology and Social.
The game takes place during the year 2027, 25 years before Deus Ex. Nanotechnological augmentations have yet to be developed and biomechanical augmentations are the current state of the art. The main character, Adam Jensen, is a private security officer with a company that specializes in these augmentations. He witnesses a chilling attack on his company, and "the conspiracy begins."The visuals are a combination of cyberpunk and Renaissance aesthetics, resulting in a futuristic-looking Baroque world. Adam Jensen will be voiced by Elias Toufexis.
Five metropolises are included and Detroit, Shanghai and Montreal (where the developers' studio is based) have been confirmed. In addition, the protagonist will have his own apartment where he may store his secrets and collected information. The events in the game will lead to the formation of UNATCO from the original game.
My God this game is looking good so far. But I'm still waiting on seeing some actual gameplay before making my mind up. Plus I'm just hoping right now it lives up to the originals footsteps, maybe even surpassing it. What about you guys, played an Deus Ex game or seen this new trailer, which seriously blew me away haha. I will say this about Square, they know how to do CG work.
Your Most Disappointing Game?
As the title would say. What is your most disappointing game, or gaming experience I'll leave that an option too. Me personally, I would have to go with these..
Final Fantasy X - By the time this game rolled out I was a FF fanatic, having just come from playing VII(Still my favorite game for certain reasons)VIII(which is playable.. sort of) and my opinion of best Final Fantasy, IX. I was literally foaming at the mouth for the next one to come.. And then it did.
Aside from the fast paced gameplay, graphics and cool mini game Blitzball, the game itself just didn't wow me like the past games. I hated the characters, story was original but IMO executed poorly. Voice acting was just terrible. The game just fell too short of my(Admittedly high) expectations.
Assassins Creed - I was anticipating this game, because not only was the setting and style/story pretty interesting from what I had heard. But the game was just looking to be something new and innovative. Shit did that feeling go away after the first hour or so. Seriously the game had so much potential, quite happy the sequel actually delivered where the original really should have.
Chrono Cross - This game has everything, gorgeous graphics, music, a good battle system, yet the one thing it should have excelled at was it's story.. Which it just fell short on. Comparing this game to it's amazing predecessor is a little hard because this game in it's own right is still a great game, and had it had been named something different then I'm sure I would've liked it a little more. But it wasn't.
Anyway that's my thoughts, can't think of anything else right now but I'm sure I will if someone mentions said game(s) in the thread.

FUCKEN FINALLY, Ive been waiting so long for Sega to get their act together. My childhood memories of those first 3 are still stuck in my head fondly. I hope to God they don't fuck this one up.. Episodic releases I'm not that fond of though.

The story's protagonist, Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), is a former Marine who was wounded and paralyzed from the waist down in combat on Earth. Jake is selected to participate in the Avatar program, which will enable him to walk. Jake travels to Pandora, a lush jungle-covered extraterrestrial moon filled with incredible life forms, some beautiful, many terrifying. Pandora is also home to the Na'vi, a sentient humanoid race that humans consider primitive, yet are more physically capable than humans. Standing three meters tall, with tails and sparkling blue skin, the Na'vi live in harmony with their unspoiled world. As humans encroach deeper into Pandora's forests in search of valuable minerals, the Na'vi unleash their formidable warrior abilities to defend their threatened existence.
Jake has unwittingly been recruited to become part of this encroachment. Since humans are unable to breathe the air on Pandora, they have created genetically-bred human-Na'vi hybrids known as Avatars. The Avatars are living, breathing bodies that are controlled by a human "driver" through a technology that links the driver's mind to their Avatar body. On Pandora, through his Avatar body, Jake can be whole once again. Sent deep into Pandora's jungles as a scout for the soldiers that will follow, Jake encounters many of Pandora's beauties and dangers. There he meets a young Na'vi female, Neytiri, whose beauty is only matched by her ferocity in battle.
Over time, Jake integrates himself into Neytiri's clan, and begins to fall in love with her. As a result, Jake finds himself caught between the military-industrial forces of Earth, and the Na'vi, forcing him to choose sides in an epic battle that will decide the fate of an entire world.
Putting older/classic games on the site?
I was just wondering if I'm able to upload an older game from way back with a Game Page that I myself didn't make and have the authors name in it's place.. Or anyone else for that matter as I feel games like Legion Saga(I know their not the best but people used to love that series and some still remember that Kamau guys influence back then) for example. Until My Finest Hour by Bloodrose, etc.
