TEHGUY'S PROFILE
I've almost been here for somewhat 7 years and still can't seem to finish crap, but it's been time well spent learning exactly how NOT to do things
Except for that PONG game... I'm not doing that again. Ever.

Black Winter Review

Well, we are 4 hours in the game right now, and I must say it gets quite interesting after the intro.
But as these fellows have said before me, you cannot know what is going on by playing less than an hour.
It doesn't matter if the story picks up and gets good after an hour of slogging through a metaphorical hell when one can just go play something else, you know? You gotta give people somethin to keep them going, to keep them wanting more.
Frankly, I think Dragnfly's little comment about "biting the bullet" for us may have been accurate, at least in my case
And now, as I actually read through everything after typing all this out, I'll probably come to realize I may be wasting my time =3=
The Abyss Review
author=Ratty524Mainly RTP, I believe. Nothing too special here, but at least it's not horridly used.Considering that I mained RMXP for some time, I beg to differ.
The way the tiles are used look unnatural and barren, completely underutilizing the huge library of tiles that RMXP's RTP gives you.
My definition of horrid would be "eye vomit"
Basically, the tile usage didn't cause me visual unrest or anything but I will agree that it was bland

Bundesvision Brigade II Review
Wait, why is Tim listed as 'Berliner' while the others aren't listed as anything?
fun fact, a Berliner can either be a citizen of Berlin or, if you're JFK, a doughnut.
So think of Tim as a doughnut :3
Why do I need a coconut from Saxony? They don't even have coconuts in Saxony!
Perhaps the dev is suggesting that coconuts migrate?
The World Between Review
For instance, what was the point of the inaccessible green room with the crates?
green room with crates? I thought I changed that to a blue room with something else in there..?
The World Between Review
thanks for the review, pointed out exactly what I need to focus a bit more on :3
You actually got it to work before admin mode? congratulations :p
Yess, I figured I would have to put a tutorial level or something somewhere in there.. Will have to chalk that up somewhere in the level planning.. as far as glitches, some of them (like some weird lighting on the first level) are unavoidable for some reason..
both I have planned for when I have the basics of most of the levels down
mmmm yes, that one portal around the last level of the demo.. after I got a few new decals to put in there apparently I forgot :p
will be fixed
hmm.. jumping puzzles.. interesting idea you got thurr..
hehe.. don't worry bout that :3
main problem with the first level was that the minute I tried something like that, the build process would immediately spike to 1.8 GB used and seize up due to the overall mem cap which I have removed (now it freezes around 2.8 GB). I can try this once I can get to my desktop (with all 6 GB :3)
As for the health, it could be done
I think I quoted this before (multiple tabbing goooo) and it just hasn't been implemented as yet, but is being planned out now and then..
I also had to run the game in administrator mode; otherwise, I would appear halfway through the level, and/or clicking on the mouse would freeze the game

- Fewer glitches with tutorial messages and startup.

- Increased interactivity in the levels and a more integrated storyline.

- Better clarification with switches, portals, etc.

- Use of the jump button.
hmm.. jumping puzzles.. interesting idea you got thurr..
- Additional items, weapons, and enemy variety.
hehe.. don't worry bout that :3
- Additional health early on and perhaps a few enemies in the first building.

There seems to be no in-game storyline; this could be either a design choice or a feature not yet implemented,

Eling Review
I find the gameplay section a little lacking in terms of it only talks about one goddamned thing(for the most part). I get it, it's annoying and I wonder why it was implemented but this one thing shouldn't be the entire content of the section (or the biggest part of the review)
Although I can agree with this...
EDIT: oh god I just bumped this by 18 days..
It's one of those games where you have 3 hits no attack and you walk around avoiding obstacles

PONG Review
It was more to build up on my knowledge :p
(that's why I have a secret RPG maker project goin while I wait for my FPSC issue to be sorted >.>)
Either way, might be better to move on rather than try to make another Pong game. :P

PONG Review
As far as the game breaking bug, I have been trying to find ways to fix that and i've been working to combine all the executables under one code. It's just been a bit difficult as of late as I've had quite a bit of stuff I had to do irl :|
Pausing is on the list of things that needs to be added (who knew such a simple concept was pretty complicated to code with my limited knowledge of GML).
Anyhow, back to the drawing board (or sheets of paper..) i guess :p
EDIT: and the reason that this whole thing was near forgotten is that I've been trying on the "The Game Creator Forums" to fix a game-breaking bug with one of their weapon model packs.. strange how they haven't answered in a month..
