THEANNOYINGBUGBEAR'S PROFILE

Hello. I'm the Annoying Bugbear but you can call me 'Chief'. I have a fascination for orcs, bugbears and anthropomorphic characters that I want to create games featuring these creatures as playable characters. I write mostly gay fiction so don't be surprised that you'll see lots of gay romances in my upcoming game titles.

Why does my avatar look familiar?

My avatar is based on the Bugbear Chieftain from Dark Alliance: Baldur's Gate.

Error message since the latest MV update?

Hello everyone. It's Chief here and I've ran into a serious problem with the latest MV update. Just recently, Yanfly had posted a video regarding about some plugins that needed to be updated for MV 1.6.0. I followed his instructions to update the plugins and I got this error message upon testing:

I've never seen this error message before. The main game I've been working on is the only project that has this message (and it was working just fine the other day!). And because of this, I can't playtest my game. =( I've updated both the Item Core and Core Engine but nothing's working. I'm also not using the Grid Free Doodad so that eliminates one problem. If anyone has experienced this lately and found a solution, I can really use your help on this one! It's probably something minor but I'm not sure what to do at this point.

UPDATE!

To avoid double posting, I'll just say it here. I just found the solution today and I can playtest again! Hooray! If anyone is getting this error message, here's what I did.

-I made a brand new project. You don't need to do anything with it.
-Go into the new project's folder, navigate to the 'js' folder and copy the 'libs' folder and paste and replace it in your existing project.
-Then copy the index.html from the new project and replace it in your existing project.

If done right, this should clear the bug.

The Annoying Bugbear has joined the party

What's up everyone. My name's The Annoying Bugbear and to start off the new year for me, I have decided to get online and join the RPG Maker club finally. I am a game designer with a background in art and I design some pretty unusual characters as protagonist such as orcs, lizardmen and bugbears for my game ideas! I like to tell stories and come up with some new ideas for character growth and development in terms of progression (ex: FF X's sphere grid). I can't wait to see what you guys create as well as what I have to show and tell. If I haven't said it yet or if it's not obvious by the title: The Annoying Bugbear has joined the team! No need to input a name. You can call me 'Chief'.
