A Theater Game Idea
Well not really a game idea, but more of a "watch it play out" type of series.
I wanted to know if it'd be looked down upon to create a sort of 'Theater' game in a sense, that did a weekly release of anime where you control a character, they sit in a seat, and a 30+ minute anime would start. (Plus implementing a pause button.)
I wanted to do this for one reason being that I know many people who don't stream anime because they can't, wish to watch anime but have no means through TV, but can still download RPG MAKER games.
How would most people on here handle a sort of series like that with a weekly release of 1 series until the series ended (and then go onto the next?)

Organization on the front page is just as important as the actual games being created. If it looks ugly, you don't want to see if it looks worse when you click on other stuff.

But I still don't see your problem. I'm not going to thank someone, if they don't do jack shit to be thanked for. Their time and effort can easily be thanked for after, when they proved they actually did it, rather than sit there, say they did, then not prove it.
It's perfectly reasonable to not want to waste time thanking someone until after you see progress.

Do you mean making it where it's coded to be based on your computer's clock? If so that has a major flaw. People just changing time backwards on the computer.

I usually say thanks when people actually do something. Yeah, I could say it now. But if no one doesn't even take time to read this or do it, why thank them for something they would still be doing if I hadn't created this topic to begin with?

Kickstarter does not advertise for projects. It houses them. It's up to the people to get it known. If you wait to advertise for it only after you start the Kickstarter, you'll not have enough time to get your initial goal, if any at all because they would just then be learning about it.
Reason why all the name-brand, top Kickstarter projects were semi-famous if not super famous to begin with.
My Amusement Park Project, I don't plan to do a Kickstarter until the Facebook page has 100,000+ likes. You see? We gained an additional 907 likes yesterday alone. You just need to advertise properly before hand, and do the majority of the work beforehand or you'll be getting shit for results for a shit-based Kickstarter thinking it had what it takes to be up there with the big dogs.
