I've looked and looked yet still cannot find any 'good' final fantasy battle sets for 2k3. I find final fantasy 3 ones but they are too small to go with the weapons. I'm trying to find the decent sized ones like the red mage. Not the small ones used for 3.

That I'm still working on. I'm trying to make it be able to heal faster than it can attack. So it gives players the chance to heal as well. Also it is basically impossible for any character to lose all of their MP. Anytime they do any action, it gives back like 3 MP per turn. So if you use it up, you automatically get 3 back. I want to make it give back more per level earned. Like maybe when level 100 you can get 100 mp per turn. But that would take awhile to do.

For HP I planned on making a plan that would allow certain characters to earn HP back per turn, in return they earn no mp per turn.

I always wanted to add a thing that shows who is going to attack, like Exit Fate does, but also add a special type of one, that also will show what attack they will do. Sometimes.

Review scoring: standardization, professionalism, etc.

Well, I tried to tackle this before...

...it didn't really go anywhere.

Casual visitors who stroll through the site are likely to base their judgment of whether or not to play a game based entirely on the review score.

Also, this is a false assumption. The presentation of the game page is actually the defining factor.

Hell I didn't base what I'd play on the score, firstly. I based it on reviews, comments, the amount of screen shots and the quality thereof, before looking at the score as a factor.
The Score could help or make it bad, but I'm sure most people read the page(s) of the game(s) for comments, the stories, updates and so on, before looking at the score, as the score is more bias than anything else in terms of how good the game will be. That is pretty much common sense when playing games as a game is only as good as someone's opinion of it is. Opinions differ, and thus won't make the game good solely on the score.

"2D" Zelda Games Obsolete?

Obsolete is a strong word to use. Yeah, they aren't used by professional game developers, much, but they aren't obsolete. We, as a gaming community, still are using them for the most part. You hardly see anyone here making 3D games, and to me, that makes all the difference in the world. I want to actually bring back the Sprite style and have it catch back on with the professional, main-stream gaming developers and communities.

I feel there is still so much potential and possibilities left with the 2D, pixel (sprite) graphics. They are much easier to use, and can be used so many different ways, yet you see many people going into 3D programming and such. There are WAY MORE artists than programmers, and many people who can do Art on the computer(s). There is still so much left that is unfinished in terms of 2D gaming.

Secret/ Super Boss length

Well I had an idea, of having it changing the story a bit if you defeat the super boss.

Also with the breaks in between, it gives them chances to level up, heal, whatever, and with the option to just kill it off piece by piece without it fusing, would add some more strategy to the game, or so I feel. The basics of the idea I had, also would allow for the player to obtain new weapons, an upgrade, so to speak, of their previous Ultimate Weapons and armors. Ultimate II and would allow you to obtain a Final Summoning type of Summon.

Well being a true fan definitely doesn't mean to have everything changed to drive it away from the original game. Then it'd not be a 'remake' of the series to me. Hell that is like making a movie out of a book and not having anything about the story of the book in the movie, just the characters.

But that is just my opinion. Which matters only to me. If it matters to others, then it is a bonus.

Also I'd not mind a 7 remake as long as they keep it EXACTLY the same, only with new graphics. No new text. No new gameplay. No new options/system (battle system, item, armor, weapon system and so on). If it keeps the original game, then I'm all for it.
Because you can't just replay the original FF7? If nothing else changes except for the graphics then what's the difference?
The difference is my opinion. Good enough for you? Kay. It doesn't really matter what the difference would be other than what I want the difference to be.
You can't get hissy when someone questions your opinion if you don't have the will to defend or elaborate on it. Calm down, cowboy. Kay?

That is elaborating enough. People tend to take offense and question others when they have opinions that differ from theirs. My stating the difference is what I make of it, is elaboration enough. Pointless or not in terms of games is irrelevant. That is like saying it is pointless to make metal music as they hate it and I like it and want more.

I like the fact that it'd be upped in graphics. To see how well it'd look. The fact I'm a true fan of the series and 7 would MEAN I'd obviously wouldn't want a thing changed other than the graphical aspect of the game. That alone is a good reason, and most likely the same reason other big fans have.

I liked 8. It was still better than 9.
