Only suggestion I have is to tweak the character battle sprites to be as detailed, or close to as detailed as the background and monsters. This way it won't look as colorful mainly because it stands out so much compared to the sprites.
Doesn't change my point. Hopefully they will be as detailed as the rest of the battle HUD.

I think they see what is a sort of Satellite type of thing.

I don't like the darker one at all. If he is going for a stone look, rather than a carpet one, the brighter one looks more natural and still different enough to stand out and show off the room more.
But here is a suggestion. Adding an over-lay sort of thing over parts of the floor, one that shows, say, darker spots, with cracks, to darken that area up, and add age and it'd look more detailed.

Yeah, but EO sucked. More-so because of the Hackings, Scamming and so on.
This doesn't have it much at all, and when it does it isn't by much and taken care of pretty swiftly. It still is pretty amateur but pretty good for one, though.

Don't ask me. Not my game. The owner of it wanted me to make a game profile for his game.
But what I do know, is there were quite a bit of fan made items, which over time every non original item will be replaced as a 100% custom client is in the works.
