Echo Bucks and Crafting Goodies

Don't feel like you need to input a system that other RPGs have just because they have those systems. Very often you find a system put in a game and then never really used that often - it's then a waste. While crafting systems can be fun, they can also be onerous and if they don't fit your game it's best not to have them.

Oh, I get that. I was more or less just saying that Heartfire won't be too different in regard to crafting, but I'll never add something just because I can. Still good advice, though. :p

Smaller or Larger Maps

I suppose I could let you in on a secret as to how I go about making 60x60 maps. I start with the default size, then use the under-used shift-map function as I expand it, adding more details all the while and moving the map around as I please. I never make a 60x60 grid and start from there. ;)

Yeah, I totally thought of that from the beginning (spoiler: I didn't). But that's helpful advice, thank you. Initially, I had a hard time making the forests look "natural," if that makes sense. But I've gotten the hang of it now.

An Update!?

I can't wait to see the final result!

If you need help with playtesting I'll be happy to help.

Really? OK, I'll PM you some details tomorrow or Wednesday.

Smaller or Larger Maps

I've went with medium-small maps for the most part. :)

Accepted but how to upload.

You can add/remove/edit your game's download from Manage Games. :)

Road Block

How about a port town? Capitals are large cities for a reason, and they need a strong economy. No one flocks to a city if it's poor and desolate. Maybe canals too, like Amsterdam.
