Does sprites sidewalk all the time?


Yes and no. When moving downwards they retain the direction they are facing, when moving upwards you see the character's back and also retain the direction they are facing... to a degree. It's slightly more time consuming that I cannot make npc characters move randomly. When they move down and up, they always face the direction designated by the charset. I've tried scripting something to make them move more dynamically, but I've had no luck thus far.

Sweeet.

the other issue's going straight over my head tbh. The npc will move around randomly, and I want the bubble to always appear directly above their head. Can I make the picture appear relative to where the npc is on the screen?

Uh, the Download section should contain a copy of the game. NOT an .mp3 file(pretty sure it's against the rules). There is a Media section for stuff like that.


*sigh* If you couldn't tell already, I'm new to this site. I 'submitted' the .mp3 into the downloads unknowingly. Didn't mean to break any rules...

Don't do it in downloads, upload it as "Media" and host it in your locker. Then you can make a new tab for it (blog, images, music, downloads, etc) This will give you higher Maker Score (more locker space) and be more accessible and visually pleasing.

I think going the whole Dali/Escher/Wood route would be a little too obvious. I'll be getting into the details moreso later, but the main character is an artist. The artwork will play into the story a lot, especially with it taking place inside his own brains.
