XEAROTH93Z'S PROFILE

Im a huge fan of the classics, such as NES and Gameboy. i am currently working on 2 games now, neither one is close to completion. these will probably be the only games i make unless i get another inspiration and enough knowledge.

If you want to read the book for my game The DragonSpark Chronicles, go to the website below. Read the terms of service located under the Lair link.

oops wrong picture!

forest_map.jpg

This part is meant to be a challenge compared to all the story you have to put up through when you first start the game. After a whole lot of story I figured it was about time for a whole lot of fighting and confusion.

During testing, I actually almost got lost in here. It wasn't fun. I had realized that it would be torture trying to get through here, so i added in a Health spring in the cliffside area and a Health Sphere around the center of here.

And at least it doesnt have a buch of different floors like a dungeon, although there are going to be at least 3 more forested areas similar to this one.

Tips on Making Good Forests

here is the first forest area. I took the "layered approach" as mentioned earlier.

Thoughts?

RMN sucks 5

The demo is pretty well done so far. i cant wait until this actually gets going.

The 7 Dragons Review

Okay, first thing....uh, language?
Second, who's crying? Im not; I actually find it funny that someone would take the time to write this "review" adn expect others to listen.

Why is your game listed as 'Completed' if certain areas of it aren't done yet?

Mistake, my friend.

I caled it completed because for I finished the main plot and am now just looking for improvements

A Home Far Away

Wow. this must have taken a lot of time and work. downloading now

The DragonSpark Chronicles - The Last Spark

Ive been making steady progress, trying to keep in line with the book's storyline as I was making the game. For those who have been reading the book (which is almost none of you) it has kind of differed a little bit, but still gets the point across

The 7 Dragons

The Chocobo Maze is available as soon as you acquire the ship. It is on one of the islands to the south of the starting island and costs 500 gold. When choosing levels, do not choose levels 2 - 5 as they are not done yet.

The 7 Dragons Review

@Corfaisus:
Ok, after reading this a few more times, all I have to say is this:

I'm pretty sure reviews were supposed to be written AFTER the game is completed or close to it, not after the first 10-15 minutes of gameplay. Without going through the entire game, you really have no clue as to what else the game has to offer, except maybe a few more bugs.

The review was, in all honesty, not needed, as all the topics and stuff you found wrong could have been easily notified to me by PM or posting on the Game Page. I personally think its kind of funny that you would go so far as to write a review for the game just to make comments and jokes. All I'm saying is that if you can't give a helpful piece of advice without making stupid jokes about it, then don't bother saying anything.

And another thing:

Also, for a game so beginnerish, I'd recommend just playing other games from the site. This game clearly reflects the lack of better reference.

I started this game way before I heard of this site, so I hadn't had the chance to learn from other games at the time. After I did, though, that was when I started making the other games I have posted on the site. I really just wanted this to be critiqued by the more experienced users on the site for some feedback and possibly some help.
