Suitable EXP value curve? [2K3]
Last question for the night...so I've been thinking of redoing my EXP values in my game, and am wondering if there isn't a good way of doing EXP at all in 2k3. Right now, my current EXP (for everyone) is 0-613-1 IIRC (something like that. Can't be bothered to open 2k3 right now to check, but it's very close to that value). Is there a good way of doing EXP traditionally, since 2k3 doesn't let you do values manually (which I will never understand why not for the sake of making level ups easier to manage but...).
CommandRTP for 2k3?
Ok, so I had a friend of my test it out. He got my game without anything else, and got the "the rpg maker 2003 runtime package is not present or not registered", which I expected. So I uploaded the harmony.dll and the RPG_RT.ini with the "FullPackageFlag=1" inside. He got the "the file vehicle cannot be opened", which I assume all I need to do now is upload the RTP folder itself (whether or not it needs to be in the folders for my game or just be left in the RTP folder, I do not know. That is the only step I have yet to figure out since he had to leave...so I'm assuming I just need to give him the default RTP folders right?
And to ask one more question, is there a way to make the game open in Windowed mode instead of fullscreen mode for those that play it? Aside from having them use F4 when they open said game?

CommandRTP for 2k3?
In the game folder itself, or in the main 2k3 folder? Because I have had people somehow not manage to get the game working when I included everything from my original game beta (unless I somehow forgot to put the RTP in there...which could be possible I guess...). Just making sure so that I don't make the same mistake twice now ^^;
CommandRTP for 2k3?
It's a little program that let people run RPG Maker games (or at least, 2k/2k3, from what I know). People were having trouble getting my game to run, so I looked up stuff and found out about that program, and well...that's about all I can say on that? ^^;
CommandRTP for 2k3?
So, this is an odd request coming from me. I used to have the CommandRTP on Megaupload (we all know what happened THERE), so I don't have it anymore (for some reason I didn't put it on my external or something...), and I can't seem to find it anywhere now. Does anyone so happen to have this at all, so that I may give it to those that need it to play my game? Unless they don't NEED the CommandRTP to play it...maybe they never needed it to begin with? @_@;;
Fixing Reflect Bug?
So...do I need both of those patches, or just one will do? Like, do I need 1.08 to use 1.09, or can I go straight to 1.09?
The Death Penalty
Hmm...this is quite an interesting topic I must say~
From my experience with RPG, I think you're right about more than 90% handle it that way. And I think that's probably the best way to do it too, though being able to have the save point just right by the boss seems to be the best way of handling a death I think. Either that, or somewhere in the middle of the dungeon, and then by the boss? So essentially 2 save points in a dungeon just in case you die. For extra challenges, 1 save point at the start of a really hard optional dungeon (such as in Seraphic Gate in Valkyrie Profile), though that becomes troublesome if one dies then I suppose...
The only real time I see dying being a problem (other than obviously losing a lot of progress if dungeon is pretty big) is if one were to grind. Other than that, I don't see dying as THAT big of an issue. Of course, this comes from someone that plays the FF series and haven't had to deal with dying all that much (save for Final Fantasy IV DS and Final Fantasy III NES/DS, but forget those games!). FFVI did it in an interesting way yes, but I just find that pretty abusable (or one can think of it as a way to get even with an earlier boss by not saving in forever just to go back to said boss and beat the tar out of him...but that's a lot of progress and work lost in the main game...so hmmm).
Really, I guess it all just comes down to how the dungeons are in my opinion. Traditional save points is just how I think most should go. Not saying the other options are bad, but traditional save points just seems...less of a hassle really. I don't know, maybe I'm not adding a whole lot to this conversation >_<

Fixing Reflect Bug?
So, I remember there being something that fixes this bug with Reflect (why they didn't make Reflect let you reflect either physical, magical, or both type of abilities, or specific abilities, I'll never know but...). Does anyone so happen to have said patch, and how I would go about setting this patch up? And would anyone else that downloads the game need said patch as well, or will having the exe file from the game work for them?
MEGAUPLOAD HAS BEEN SHUT DOWN BY THE FEDS
Yeah, that's why I didn't like using Mediafire to begin with, since I had files from another MUGEN project that was deleted...and the music files probably WON'T be updated that much...that's why I loved MU was I didn't HAVE to worry about my files spontaneously vanishing from expiration dates...but forced to use it right now even though I really hate it (and apparently, my computer does too...).
