This is the area you're talking about, right? The door on top only requires the Kouryu Key to get through. If you don't have that then you didn't get it from the jar room (the one where it's a jar mini-game place), which is the center room on the bottom floor.

There should be doors you have to enter to get keys from. That's all there is to that.

@Tyranos: Yes, you make a Music folder and extract all of the music files into that. It should be cleared up on the download page, I think I updated it a little after you got things there (LockeZ pretty much told me to make it clear on there, which I should've done from the get-go, so all of the information should be on the Download page proper).

You only need the Vanilla music minimum, the Extended music is if you want more flavor in the music (not to say that the tracks used in the Extended pack aren't good in their own right mind you).

Good to hear that you'll be getting around to it. I do expect there to be things that I forgot to fix in terms of mapping/tilesets/eventing, or bugs in general since I'm only one person and hardly anyone tells me if there's bugs anymore (I hardly hear ANYTHING about the game on any of the places it's posted...T-T ). I do need to update some maps (which ones need updated are pretty obvious), and there's probably other things that I need to update too, but I'm sure you'll let me know about it either which way heh.

Then I don't know what it is that you're doing that's preventing you from using magic at all. You did something weird to your game that nobody else has done or something. Are they at least viewable in the character's skillsets in battle? They better be because I didn't change anything in the database...
