I don't have any super strong requirements, but I'd prefer if games were a bit on the shorter side (2-4 hours), and don't have battle systems that are TOO complicated...

Tekken 7 comes out on consoles worldwide tomorrow! Anyone else as excited as I am? Probably not, but I thought I should make a topic anyway.

Hey all,
1 year later, and Slack has now grown to a hearty 200 members. Congratulations and thanks to everyone who made it possible!
I've decided to step down as primary Slack Owner due to wanting to focus on other commitments, so please say congratulations to the new primary Slack Owner, Zeigfried McBacon!
I'd imagine the current Slack admin team are going to be looking for a replacement for me, so please keep your eyes peeled if you wanna be part of the #RMNSocialMediaRevolution.

After much deliberation amongst the current Slack team, it was decided that the two new recruits will be Kloe and Ratty524. Congrats! *Big Boss salute*
We might be getting additional people on board depending on the demand, so stay tuned....
The RMN Slack admin team is currently looking for two admins, one in the Americas and one in Europe/Africa.
Duties include:
- Accepting Slack invites via email as they come in
- Making sure, within reason, that conversations take place in the appropriate channels. Most important is the distinction between #general and #realtalk, where the latter is meant for more serious matters.
- Taking disciplinary action against members when necessary. Luckily that won't be all that often, and would usually occur after discussing with the other Slack admins, unless exceptional circumstances, such as spammers or PM hasslers.
- Being cool (..optional)
And that's pretty much it.
If you're interested, it'd be fantastic if you could write up (1) whether you're in the Americas or Europe/Africa, and (2) a sentence or two about what you think would make you a good admin. You can either post in this topic or PM me. In either case, a decision will be made by the current Slack team.
Any questions, feel free to let me know.

[POLL] Would you be interested in a RMN meet?
A couple of us in Slack were considering the possibility of a RMN meet - i.e. a bunch of us meet up in real-life and get up to some wild shenanigans (or not).
As for the timeline, I honestly don't know when it'd happen yet as it's dependent on a lot of things...if it were to be hosted in London (where I live), I'd be aiming for within a couple of months (say end of July).
It might be also worth stating when you'd be free for this type of thing, and for how long.
I think most of us were keen in Slack were keen on London, UK because of its accessibility, but if you have any other ideas, feel free to share.
Either way, please vote! #RMN2016

Discord - Come Voice Chat with Us!
I'm pleased to announce the official RMN Discord group!

Well, turns out there are quite a few reasons to use Discord:
- Similiar UI to Slack, with added voice capabilities. This creates a lot of potential for live streaming/LPs. Also, some users might prefer voice to text chat.
- Lower CPU/RAM usage than Slack
- IP ban feature. No more 'Perihelio' incidents, guaranteed.
- Can host on Discord's own servers. As such, it makes a good fallback should our Slack go down for whatever reason.

[RMMV] What do you guys do about RPG sound effects?
(Not necessarily just an RMMV thing - but felt I should pick just one)
As per the subject - do you guys make your own sound effects, or do you find them scattered around the internet?
Specifically, I'm looking for magic-y sounds (like fire/irc spells, curing spells, yada yada) and I'm trying not to use resources from commercial games.
Would appreciate guidance on where to look! (Alternatively, if anyone has Creative Commons sound packs in handy, that would be superb <3)
