The Cerebral Symphony
author=Faenon
This is not dead. I handed in my PhD thesis, and now I have started training as a secondary school (high school) teacher, which is a buttload of work. But the ending is in my head, ideas are in my notebook, and I will not let this die. I will finish this one day!
Great to hear from you. Congrats on becoming the soon-to-be Dr. Faenon!
I'm just happy that this game will see a fitting end.

I finally have a skeletal path that goes from the start to the end of Chapter 4. Now I just need to start coding the details!
Glad to see you're still hanging in there. This game is a lot of fun, so I'm looking forward to seeing it complete.
Fight Club: Blackmoon Prophecy II Edition

Who/what is the Iseria Queen?
I think she is from Star Ocean?
Anyway, I suggest Grahf (Xenogears). "I am Grahf, the seeker of power. Doth thou desire the power? My fist is the divine breath! Blossom, o fallen seed, and draw upon thy hidden powers!!" :p
Good luck finding sprites for him though.
Lufia V: For the Savior
Speaking of bugs, I forgot to mention you had a minor passability issue in that mountain. It's in the top left corner of the room with the "Plain Ring" treasure. The wall in that spot was a slightly different color from the rest of the room, so naturally I was curious.

Lufia V: For the Savior
author=Dekar_the_Greatauthor=Zadok83The locked door in the room with the pots is unlocked by cutting the bushes in that room and putting a pot on the circular pattern on the floor.
I've been having a blast playing this game all wknd. It is very reminiscent of Lufia 1 & 2. I truly enjoy the mix of music from 1 & 2. The battle system is done surprising well, considering the limitations of 2k3. The plot, setting, and characters are so well done, that it seems like I'm really playing a professional sequel to the SNES Lufia games. Job well done, DTG.I'm currently in the Labyrinth dungeon and I can't get to the key. I pushed the block into the teleporter and got to the other side, solved all the puzzles past there and got to the locked door. However, I can't get to the treasure chest next to the "running" goblin. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Also, glad to hear you're liking the game =D
I found a glitch. I'm at the mountain west of the port city. I found an endlessly respawning enemy. It is after the puzzle in which the 3 blocks have to be placed on the switches simultaneously. There is a bridge with a treasure box on the left and right sides. The enemy next to the treasure on the right will keep respawning. Luckily, I was able to use Escape to leave the mountain and save.
BTW, I'm still enjoying the demo very much.
Gades is still as beastly as ever! That guy has always given me the chills...
Edit:
I was unable to duplicate the glitch. Maybe the enemy has to be in a specific spot? Anyway, you can always use Escape if it happens.
I just finished the demo too. You have quite a bit of knowledge about the Lufia mythos! The way that the plot is going makes this game actually feel like a Lufia game. It's hard to put in words how much praise I have for this game. I sincerely hope that you retain your motivation and finish this one.
On a side note, I noticed a small inconsistency:
After defeating the Tarantula, Serik comes in and mentions "Denthir" as being the 5th Sinistral. I thought that his name was "Jaxe"? Also, the name "Jaxe" is mentioned again by Cam while on the boat to Ostiaka. Am I missing something?
Now for curiosity's sake:
I noticed that Teika and Red Hat (that nut!!) essentially share the same palette as Iris/Erim. I'm guessing that they are incarnations of the Sinistral of Death? I remember that Erim lost her memory for awhile in FOD and became Lufia, but in ROS she had them intact as Iris. Is it a similar situation with Teika and Red Hat? One last thing, is Arek the Absolute gonna make an appearance?
Thanks for all your hard work and I'm looking forward to the day I see "Complete" as the status of this game.
Lufia Trinity
author=Vanillatogetherauthor=xbusterActually, I was referring to the graphical setup where the character turns to face you and "attacks in place". Lol but thanks for the reply ^_^
The Battle System in Lufia FOD was very similar to Final Fantasy IV, except enemies couldn't attack while you made your decisions. So, its like Final Fantasy's ATB on wait mode instead of active.author=KirenThis makes me very happy ^_^
My game is very much active. :)
Touché!
I'm looking forward to playing most of the Lufia fangames on this site. I can't wait for the demo to this one.
