Title System

author=Marrend
You also gain different titles by doing different things in the game, and the choices you choose affect the overall world and gameplay.
Like giving your sister her favorite food, and getting a cute/heartwarming scene, to achieve the "Good Brother" title? Total Tales of Phantasia reference, by the way.

EXACTLY. In the game there's a conversation that occurs, and you can say "Thank you, Jake." Or, "Don't tell us what to do." And you get titles and different game options based on that.

Title System

No, he's showing of a title system. For this screen's example, his class is "Rouge", but his title is "Noble". I think he's going for the kind of system that Tales of Phantasia had, but that system replaced the class name with the title the character got/achieved/whatever.

But I could also be totally and completely wrong!

*Edit: He mentions Fable as to his inspiration for his implementation for the title system, but I've never played it.

Well, eager fans, as Fable is, you have your class, Fable doesn't really have classes as you be whatever you want, but say you're a ranger, the title has nothing to do with your class.
The description for noble is, "One of a noble birth."
It's just a title, y'know?
But, based on if their good or bad, they have different stat affects.
