Thinking about finishing this game this year
People these days use VX Ace and/or MV mostly. Also, I'm not sure if you're aware, but there are legit versions of 2k and 2k3 now in english, though I'm wagering those aren't what you're aiming for as far as current and future projects go. Graphics wise, You'll probably need to hire someone or pick up some skills and DIY it.

Ive only gotten drunk like once in my life, but getting pain killers in me right after waking up from passing out seemed to be fairly effective, but Im probably the wrong person to be talking on that matter.
