Hello, fellow designers! I'm Zephire98, aspiring game designer and average gamer. My favorite game series is Zelda, my favorite RPG Maker is RPG Maker 2000, and my favorite gaming system is the Nintendo 64! (I'm a bit of a retro enthusiast. :P)

I hope to remake Shotgun Knight still. I've been getting ideas, but I'm still focused on Scarlet Twilight, and you're busy with other projects, though I'm sure there'll be time in the future to work on Shotgun Knight REMAKE.

What are your long-term plans as a game developer?
My plans have always been to go into game development as a career, but starting my own independent game company from the ground up. That's why I'm pursuing computer science and game development courses in college.
Though, I have to finish Scarlet Twilight to show that I can make a game and stick to it to its completion. And I'm not gonna lie, despite the obstacles and setbacks I've faced with its development, there is no sign of me dropping the project entirely.
For now, game-making is a hobby for me, but I intend to change it to a career in the future.

Food for Thought: Porting to Unity?
@Luiishu: At the moment, average gamers. So, that's kind of the target audience for me with this game.

@pianotm: Thank you for your concern and opinion. Technically, I had my doubts about porting everything to Unity, but I was still leaning to completing this game in RPG Maker. The person (someone I know) was more ranting about the Steam Flood of RPG Maker games, and when I did bring up the points of the good RPG Maker games made to this person, they went into talking about the stuff I mentioned in the blog post.
In honesty, I'm still adamant to finish the game in RPG Maker first, then maybe, when I have a larger amount of experience under my belt, I'll port the game to Unity at a later point in time.
Again, I do know that RPG Maker has a host of bad games, but I still admire the good games, like the ones you listed, Hero's Realm, Castle Oblivion Remake, and others of similar caliber.

Bows Are Easy And Only For Women - Clichés To Hate
This might make me have to rethink one of the characters in my current project, because, coincidentally, the character is both female and an archer.
I was not aware of this cliche, but that's not why I developed a character that was female and an archer. Though, technically, she can use other weapons as well, since she's a huntress, so she's not entirely an archer.

Description: A female with no stated sexual orientation. Hopeful, stoic, and rather energetic. Can lean between being heterosexual or bisexual.
Background: "Fuchsia is a girl who is not sure about her own sexual orientation, but is not too concerned about it at the current moment. Fuchsia is considered a half-faerie, due to the fact that she can cast certain magic spells that humans are unable to, but from which parent she gets it from is unknown. She is more of a forward person, and very compassionate. She and Victoria have become fast friends due to their similar natures."
