Sweet Middleground 5 ~the cave~

@Marrend
Now I'm worried, because I mentioned how to change the game difficulty not once,
but twice ='D. I must have a problem with putting important info right within the attention drop intervals.
Go to the bedroom, and move Vincent's mattress.

Sweet Middleground 5 ~the cave~

@Marrend:

You're right, the wood thing requires another weapon to destroy it~

I haven't had the luxury of much playtesting yet, so I might adjust the difficulty, but it is supposed to be challenging in Normal, really. Don't hesitate to switch to Easy (although I don't mind you using the rvdata2 either).

The clickers are dangerous, you're not supposed to fight them head on. The polearm has more range that they do, and you can move obstacles.

And I was all happy when I found this idea of a healing kiss mechanic =D

Thanks for the detailed feedback. If you can't get through the game, don't hesitate to drop it until I make it easier, if necessary.

Woah I was not expecting an action game sequel for this series! Looks great so far!
Looking forward to playing this!! :)

Still on my quest towards varying the secondary gameplay of the series =D
The playtesting has already started, too. Still going smoothly.

When I saw this gamepage, I recalled that I have only played the fourth installment of this series. This issue has now been rectified, and looking forward to the continuation!

Wow, nice. Thoroughly appreciated~
All is going well right now, I should be way ahead of schedule.

Eternal Remnant: The First Chapter

This looks impressive, hats off.

I like the atmosphere and the artworks a frack ton. And I'm sure the writing will be veery good too, considering it's you. Gambatte, Zorga!

You're too kind : D I'm re-reading and correcting it several times, to make sure it's palatable.

Thank You So much!!! I feel like a total moron who doesn't know how to solve a simple puzzle and just instantly gave up & asked for help at the drop of a hat.. Sorry for the trouble..

Don't worry one bit~
I've come to realize recently that there was a lot of variance in the way my puzzles are received. The same puzzle can be obvious for someone, and super hard for someone else. I'm still investigating the question, this is quite the mystery...

I got 3 of the 4 clams. But I just can't seem to understand how to get the last one(next to the 2 crabs at the lower right cliffs). Maybe it's really obvious for others but my brain just isn't working today. If I can't even solve this one, I don't know how I'm going to get past the next puzzle with the sticks/brambles. It sounds even more tough than the clams
I'll screenshoot up a solution for these, and for the brambles in anticipation. Gimme a moment~

Edit: here it is. Just like in the old magazines.

I think collecting the sticks was worse for me than the clams. That puzzle combined pulling the brambles, pushing the crabs, and filling/moving the wheelbarrow!
That's the one supposed to be the hardest, yes. I kinda expect I'll have to lend a hand for it as well ='D

Hi, I'm having a bit of trouble collecting the clams.. I need to be 2 steps away from the crab to push it away right? But in tight corners I just cant seem to turn around in the same spot to face the crab, I always get moved to the next step. Am I doing something wrong? Plz help!

Here are a couple of tips:
- You can push over cliffs, since they're 1 tile large
- You can use obstacles like boulders, to be able to turn without advancing

Good luck, and glad to have you back =D
