RPG Maker MZ!

I can't quite put my finger on it but MZ makes me not want to go back to MV again. Although MV is still a very good engine to use for those who want to stick to MV (I.e. Waiting for a higher MZ Sale or just prefer MV for other reasons) no doubt.

My reason might be everything mentioned here already. I do know the performance to use the engine feels a LOT faster than MV for me, that alone might be my reason.

The event list is super helpful for me, since I have a lot of treasure rewards events in what I've worked on lately and it keeps track of everything. I can label them as stuff like "40G", "200G", etc to know exactly how much each chest is with ease too. I find that helps me when deciding to increase or lower the amounts. It also helps in-case I need to balance it again later.

And I just like knowing which NPC is where easier for town maps to help keep track of things and again much easier to find if I want to go back to any of them. For me it's easier to fix things or add content to them that way.

Move route is just what I really need to to feel more confident in having characters move almost everywhere in cutscenes.

Plus other stuff all mentioned.

Visustella Core pack is a wonderful addition that makes so many huge improvement changes and allows a really nice UI system. I do like MZ default UI system actually since it is more optimized for mobile, but Visustella Core pack is just really great for that. The changes from their plugins just cleans and tidies up what is messes and makes it much better.

FF7 remake. It's a thing.

I've been super interested in this since E3, with all that action/fighting combat it looks good to me.

A bit of a heads-up of where I've been and an apology

Hey Luiishu. I only read this by chance a little earlier today but I really hope your wrist can get better soon. I can understand that writing a lot for example can cause problems with the wrist for anyone, but I hope this turns out to not be too severe for you, and hoping for the best for you with recovering.

REFMAP Arranged/Categorized

Hey Frogge, they look awesome! Nice job! I can understand why you love using them so much.

I always felt they contain some of the most beautiful looking tiles, even though I don't use RPG Maker 2003/2000.

Not a game but I'd watch the movie: The Running Man 1987 as that's likely what Blue Contestant lifted some ideas from.
That movie is terrible (but entertaining in its own way). The Richard Bachman (Stephen King) novella it's based on is legitimately great.

Also I'm 99% sure the OP is thinking of The Blue Contestant. Liberty already told you this, but I made a direct link in case you're feeling lazy. Also, it was made in RM2k. You can't get much more RPG Maker specific than that. And also, it was the 90th game on this site. My first game accepted was, just for frame of reference, the 10,626th.
Now you got me curious to want to know what was the first ever game on the site, and how you can tell which number each games are...
Go to literally any gamepage on the site and replace the number in the link with 1.

Oh, of course! So obvious how did I miss that. Thanks

The Opposite Of A Complaint

There are a couple other sites I go on sometimes that also save what you write with forum posts, but I don't know many!

So fully agreed with you.

I also really love the fact on here you can edit reviews and also save them as draft, and preview them too. Very useful features!

[RMMV] Reducing the party's TP by a percentage

I'm not 100% sure but if this plugin works, would this work for you?

http://sumrndm.site/tp-upgrade/

[Poll] [RMVX] [RMVX ACE] I MUST KNOW - Who are your favorite RTP characters?

Is it possible to setup a poll and do muti votes on this site? Since I can't pick just one.

But, know I prefer everyone in XP RTP over VX & VX Ace anytime.

[RMVX ACE] Altering when buffs/debuffs end (after turn rather than after action)

You could use states instead of buffs/debuffs altogether, and then it's more in your control for certain? If you want the same damage increase/decrease it's 25% by default. That can also still stack with Yanfly's scripts.
https://yanflychannel.wordpress.com/rmvxa/gameplay-scripts/buff-state-manager/

Otherwise, someone with a bit more scripting knowledge may know a quick easy edit to the default scripts to make them all end on turns.

Someone else would have to tell you that though, not me, and I looked but can't find any additional scripts out there for it, sorry.
