I just finished Chapter 5 in 9 hours encountering 3 literally game-breaking bugs (luckily I'm a save-game maniac) xD and I enjoyed every moment of it. Btw will this game be continued? I just want to know the ending VERY badly. Thank you very much for this game. It's very fun and amazing!

Seriously, this game deserved more attention XD. I decided to give it a run and wasn't disappointed at all (despite getting stuck at Lloyd's stage for an hour xD no sarcasm ok) And the final stage and the ending was the best part, it made me laughed so bad. It's a great game. Tx you so much for giving me a great time with ur game :)

P.S : They are some bugs though, like when I'm exiting the dining hall to the room that also leads to the painting room, my character will be standing on a black background with an error that says 'graphic not found' or something in that line.

2. When I'm running from the bots on the 4th floor garden, there was one time I got transferred to Yvon's office ceiling and getting stuck there. I couldn't reproduce this error though.

Hmm... perhaps you could handle the collisions manually via parallel process?
Might require a bit of math to pull off though.

There's always the option of studying the vxa script and try to see how it could be adapted for rgss1 instead of rgss3 (though I do realize such a feat may be difficult due to the bast differences in back-end structure)

I tried doing the collisions via parallel process and it worked (although a bit clunky) XD and obvious lag but for now it'd do. Thanks for the suggestion :)

[RMXP] Large Event collision help?

Hi and hello. I have to post this here because I can't implement something correctly ingame for HOURS and I'm finally going crazy I have to ask for help XD

So the problem is, my game have some in-map enemies that have higher sprites sizes than the standard size which is 32x32 or 32x48(for human char). The sprite in question is below.


(It's WIP so it's a bit ugly, it's a 64x64 sprite)


So when the Player moves to touch it, the player moved to the red area and the upper body of the spider sprite are shown above the player sprite. It's supposed to deal damage AND the player aren't supposed to go UNDER the spider. Just collide like normal events.

-.---- Help? Is there a script that can make the event size cover 1x2 tile?

That's it. FYI, I already scoured google for Large Event Collision scripts, but only found scripts for RMVXA+ engines. *sigh*

It's my first time posting in the forums so I'm sorry if I put this in the wrong section and also I'm sorry if I'm being confusing or not clear.

Development Update #2: Progression

It's going nicely! Btw, 6 hours playtime is a very good amount of playtime, it's a good considerable time for RPG-Horror game. I can only wish you good luck in this :D.

Oh yeah, that another thing that i cannot script , the key to switch is , t and y, yep. Though, it is explained in a manual in the RoH update v1.1b on the download section, but i understand the filesize is too big xD. So, for now, you have to save notes that you already read inside storage box in the save room lol.

the glitch with the file(click on Files in menu) still remains
i dont think im missing a file judging by the error
note 2 things
1.The error

2.you can use it when ever you want(even b4 title screen lol)

is it supposed to be disabled perhaps,until you find a save location such as a book or something?
maybe its supposed to be unusable until a certain point in the game
maybe im supposed to find a book that allows me to use ti 1st?
i dont know ill play for like 30 minutes to try and figure it out

did not notice 1st time but theres a choose able difficulty?
it seems theres its supposed to be 3 from the sound but professional is named 2 times

As for the first glitch it was supposed to be a library script, however after i found it was buggy i left it just lik that, forgetting that the menu is essential part of the game. Just another bug found. As for the 2nd glitch, i think it was something amiss with my scripting lol.. anyway i'll fix them and by the final product it will be fixed. Thanks for the report shayoko!

Will get everything you said fix and hopefully will get it uploaded this evening. Anyway, we shared a common trait of being a fan of RE outbreak xD. And the controls was made that way so could invoke a little feel of uncertain mid-game. Anyway, feel free to upload gameplay of it xD.
(P.S : The game required Sylfaen font. Will be included in the next version xD.)
