AN idea is being born! I have been on this weird pokemon kick recently.

I was wondering for your opinions about this, using your default sideview battlers in melody just like in tankentai, is it okay if anyone will see a project done like this? Making a sprite out of kaduki style is really time consuming, imagine making your rtp sprite edits and turning them into kaduki format, isn't it time consuming? :) I need opinions for this.

Umm, I am in. I am decent with photoshop, I can supply you with resources you might be needing, and I can aide in parallax mapping. I can also add details to maps. I can really do anything, look at Stonsearch.

Changing a characters graphic during long event

For example. The name of your sprite is Yomi. If your sprite is a single sprite, you should put a $ before the name of the sprite, like this: $Yomi. But if you have more than one character for your spritesheet, no need to put $

I tried that. But it selects every character in a 3x3 square around him. Like when selecting a charsheet for one of the actors.


You should name the graphic for that character as "$graphicname" try to put $ before the filename which uses single character sprite.

I have a long auto run event where during it one of the characters gets turned to stone.

How do I do this?

For RPG Maker VX Ace.



Hmmm, define movement route, then select the event name that you wish to change then select change graphic and then choose the stoned character graphic that you want to use.

I believe you and even if your game vaporware in 9 months you wouldn't be wasting my time, now I am all the scratching my belly all day 8 days a week. Also, haven't started the image, these days I have been with zero-motivation, but will try to post it the day after tommorow if I can.
