[MAFIA] Is this Werewolf?

Nothing I'm reading gives me a strong feeling of anyone else. At this point it looks like either a psy or trihan vote is best. I don't really have an argument of my own for either of them though. I can kind of see jero's point, but it's such a small thing that I don't know how I feel about it.

Both my odd and fomar picks are now out. That thing altiya did early still bugs me, but they have given so many new player vibes since then that I've kind of backed away from that vote. One other thing I noted is lockez lack of presence, but we don't have a lot of time and don't think a lockez vote would go anywhere.

I'm going to be at work for 8 hours when I leave, so I won't have any way to post. Best chance is my lunch break via my phone, but by time I grab my lunch, eat, and get back, I usually only have 5-6 spare mins of break left, which isn't very much time to catch up on anything and vote. Not to mention typing on mobile is super slow.

I'll go with jeros instinct just because It's unlikely I'm going to be here, and I want to avoid a no lynch situation.

I'll be leaving for work in an hour and then I can't really be here.

[MAFIA] Is this Werewolf?

I believe it. Odd has a tendency to hint whatever role he has, and the op sounds like it was guaranteed to be added. I don't think it's possible for scum to hide behind a non-existing lycan role because of that.

In that case I'm going with fomar for that inconsistency. Emily, he specifically said unless he made a mistake, I don't understand why scum would want lycan dead. This implies that he thinks I'm town, unless his phrasing is just completely foreign to me.

Also atiya: Day 1 is always tricky because there isn't really anything to go on. Part of lynching day 1 is to be able to go back and look at who voted for who since the dead have their alignments confirmed.

[MAFIA] Is this Werewolf?

I see a contradiction in fomars post. He said it makes no sense for scum to want to lynch the lycan (I wasn't even considering odd might be the lycan at the time). He said the only reason I might want to is if I were the lycan (in which case I'd be town with a bad role). He then said he wanted to lynch me.

See the contradiction? I could get behind a fomar vote today now too.

Also side note: I won't be around for eod tomorrow. Weekdays I work from 8 - 4:30 (central time). I posted not long after I got home from work, and it looks like muffles 24 hour post was about 4 hours before that.

[MAFIA] Is this Werewolf?

I swear I don't remember seeing that, or I've completely overlooked it this whole time. I can't say odd feels any better to me for suggesting that with with the rule in play, but knowing odd I can see the viewpoint of him subtly claiming lycan. I'm going to wait and see what odd has to say before I cancel, but I'm going to rethink things through if he is the lycan.

[MAFIA] Is this Werewolf?

Also I'm a little concerned on why psy tried to make us think there weren't confirmed roles at the time. It was late when he posted that so I didn't go back and read at the time and just took it at face value and assumed I missed something. As thorough as his posts usually are, it strikes me as a bit odd.

Psy: Where did you get your information that roles weren't confirmed to be in the game?

[MAFIA] Is this Werewolf?

Can confirm I'm not lycan. Everyone joke claims every game, so yeah I didn't take the sorceror claim seriously. I actually wasn't even thinking about the lycan existing when I made that post. I don't know why you would subtly hint at it though than just outright say it..but then this is odd were talking about.

What glared out to me the most was his telling the masons to reveal themselves because I was thinking about the value of having two townies who can confirm themselves late game, as well as the risk of lowering the amount of players the seer might be.

Odd, if you are the lycan you probably should just outright say it. There really is no reason to contest a lycan claim, and I'd rather who the lycan is be known than unknown.

[MAFIA] Is this Werewolf?

Yeah, I definitely wouldn't use a claim strat if the roles aren't confirmed to be in the game. I didn't realize that either.

[MAFIA] Is this Werewolf?

Psy also makes a good point, but that also narrows down the choices for who the seer might be. I'd say it's deciding what the better risk/reward is.
