I will do that. I only made 2 small maps to try it out.
I, also, used only one water transfer, figuring that one would be enough for a test. I'm still learning. Haven't gotten in to variables or scripts, yet.The transfers are all the same; just simple transfers.

In making a world map, I am trying to make several adjoining maps and use transfer events to join them.
The character, boat and ship work perfectly one map to another.
However, the airship will not move from one map to the next,

In shop processing, the event is done through the npc graphic??

I have a woodsman with a counter in front of him. Counter tile set to x.
When I approach the counter, There is no conversation from him.
He will repeat his lines every time from either side or from behind him.
I did not use switches because it is the only thing he will say(at this point).

quest for yourself, party instead of for an npc?

Event to trigger another event

I have set up an event where a ship sails off and disappears off the screen.
This is an autorun event and executes when the game opens.
It works perfectly.
What I want to do is, use that event finishing to trigger a conversation from the pc.
Because I can't create an event with the pc unless I force him on to a particular tile,
I created an event elsewhere on the page, but, nothing I have tried has worked.
I have used lots of switches and events,but,this one has got me.

The ship event is "ship leaves"
The conversation event is "dlog 1"

I know that just because the ship event works fine doesn't mean it is done properly for what I want to do.
I'm just lost at this point trying to execute the conversation event.

Any help is welcome.
