- It's too late to do anything
- when I first got the diagnosis.
- the same night the doctor told me.
- After a few weeks, it finally hit me.
- I need to do something ... Anything.
- I've tried everything science could offer and something things that had nothing to do with science.
- Nothing changed ... I was still dying.
- And a hundred other useless "cures" (remedies)
- The further I went down the ladder, the more I despaired.
- That's when I found a faint glimmer of hope.
- It was an old friend of mine who told me. Of course
- Crazier than me, at first.
- a very true, faithful believer of God
- Probably just the opposite.
- Garden of Eden, I just laughed at him.
- After another failed "cure"
- Adam and Eve are said to have lived in.
- It was quite possible to breach
- Breaching the gates of the garden separating it from the outside world, defying God
- To a life on Earth, after Eve got tempted by the snake to grab the apple from the tree of life.
- Located?", I asked, still not expecting any revelation to come from the question.
- Explain.", my friend said. "Suffice it to say, it will not as easy getting there as taking a taxi."
- Take some preparations ...
- There.", he said. At this point, I was pretty very desperate and much willing
- And, indeed, it was not easy. I took many (several) weeks of preparation: while he studied a bizantine ritual, I gathered all the various items
- Finally ... the day arrived.
- Prepared to open the "Gates" of Eden.
- Of course, had the Church found out what my friend was going to do, he would have been surely ended excommunicated from it.
- But we had our minds set on performing the ritual ... he, probably because of his curiousity and concern for me; I, because I simply refused to bow down and accept death, regardless of the cost.
- To happen ... but something actually did.
- performed ... let's just say that, blood was spilled that day.
- Either way, much to my suprise,
- my eyesight went dark ... leave me blind.
- hardly be considered a paradise,
- It may have even been the total opposite .. a hellish nightmare!
- Either way, it's not as if I had much of a choice. I had to find the Tree of Life. And, if it's not here ...
- ... I'm already dead.
- After all, it doesn't look anything like the Garden of Eden.
- But, then again,
- After all, it had been thousands of years
- But, could it have changed that much? He didn't really say that. Either way, I might as well try now that I'm already here.
- After all, this is the closest I have been to finding a solution to my "Problem". It's not as if I've much of a choice.
- "Paradise" described in the Bible.
- Countless hours of lying on a bed, staring at a rusty ceiling can make anybody feel strange ... but, I don't think that's quite it.
- Starting to feel claustrophobic in this small, cramped room.
- Talked to anyone in quite a while.
- On me ... Now, it's hunger.
- go find myself something to eat.

Grumbling stomach sound

- Unless, I would rather want to die here. But ... I'm scared.
- I have no idea whatsoever of where I am. For all I know, it could be another dimension ... maybe it is.
- Could possible have been made by any creature I know.
- ... the heaving, the incoherrent screeching and the very strange sounds.
- Have never heard them before anywhere else but here.
- I probably should've stopped
- I won't be able to muster up enough strength to do so."
- "Today is the day,", I told myself yesterday, "... that I must go outside."
- "Tomorrow ... I might not have the strength to do so."
- the sounds I heard at night."
- "I will go now ... and find something to eat."

- Select Save Slot:
- If your hunger rises too much, you'll get weaker and won't be able to run. If it rises to the max, you'll be dead, so be careful to keep your hunger in check by eating.
- I need a key to open it.
- Blocks my path.
