EPLIPSWICH'S PROFILE

Just one of those who enjoys playing indie RPGs and looks out for really good-quality ones.

I'm also an unofficial game translator and have finished English translations of two top-quality Japanese RPG Maker RPGs: Seraphic Blue and Nocturne: Rebirth. Both games and their game pages can be accessed on the right of this profile.

Finally, I'm currently working on translating a visual novel called Aiyoku no Eustia :) I'm also eyeing on three future Japanese RPG Maker RPGs that I may plan to translate in order of priority once they're out and I've played them. The official and blog sites are as follows:

Nocturne: Rebirth (English)

Awesome game in all aspects! Just one annoying thing is fight with ristill to get brave clear. Its hard, very hard, i spend almost 35 tries to beat her, its my second hardest boss battle for the last 8 years after Ozma. Will there be a sequel?))

The game developer hasn't been active lately, so I don't know what he's up to. But I sure hope there's a sequel!

Someone recommend me a good Steam 2d RPG with a really interesting story.

Wallpaper Engine

Only useful if you change your wall paper all the time or you send wall papers to other people.

Hmm, not really. There are quite a number of wallpapers created by fans that are definitely keepsakes for a long time.

But yeah, if you're not a fan of creating wallpapers or getting animated wallpapers, then this probably isn't for you.

Anyone tried out Wallpaper Engine? I think it's a pretty cool program! It allows you to create unique wallpapers (3D animated wallpapers, wallpapers in the form of games, wallpapers with music etc.)

Some examples of wallpapers created in Wallpaper Engine:

So you finally decided to take the plunge. Good on you!

Nocturne: Rebirth (English) Review

Actually, someone did manage to solo bonus boss mk2, just not with Reviel, but with Luna instead:

Since you can't choose Luna as the only solo member, the only way to solo with Luna is to have Reviel get killed. Of course, this is not without using about 10 Phoenix Feathers.

Could Someone Please Check My Game Its Been Pending For A While Now

There's something called life, Kumori. Go do that first.

Any good'ish free email services out there? Myway is going offline soon.

So you want an email just for spam? You can search for temporary throwaway/disposable emails. There's plenty of them.

Google "Throwaway emails just for spam", for instance.

Getting To The Next Level: Is Patreon a good idea to consider moving forward?

I agree with Steam Greenlight + Early Access. That'd be the best approach. Or Indiegogo as the safer alternative to Kickstarter.

Patreon is best utilized if you're churning out multiple products, i.e., best for supporting developers like JosephSeraph said.

If you want an example of a successful crowdfunding campaign of an RPG Maker game, take a look at Last Dream. It may not seem much on the surface, but don't be fooled by it. This game has quite a lot of depth to it, and looking at how detailed the description is, you can see why it's successful. Granted, it's Kickstarter, but it shows an example of how a crowdfunding campaign can be successful.
