Setting an exact number into Exp Curve RM2003

Ok, so I'm setting up my exp curve for my fan sequel to match the exp curve of the second game in the series (breath of fire).

I researched the setup of the curve, and I understand the basic principal, that the primary is doubled each level, and that the secondary goes up exponentially, and the third goes up by the amount each level, but... it really is a good bit over my head.

Basically my start point to get to level 1 is 10 exp, but to get to 99 is 8,907,002.

Does anyone have experience with this sort of issue? I need my end exp to at least somewhat match that number because the mobs drop a certain amount of exp, which I have mapped out for each mob till the end of the game based on that exp curve, and it will not simply allow me to set the exp amount for each level, though my information from BSiron only shows the info per 5 levels...

Any help would be great.

Also, the curve is the most difficult part of it for me, because I could put any number in and get 8.9 million at the end, but at level 10 it needs to be around 2200 exp and level 15 around 14000 -.-* etc

I'm almost ready to run to VX, not sure my issues would be solved by that though.

Breath of Fire VI Fan Sequel is looking for volunteers!

Are you a fan of the widely mildly popular RPG franchise of Breath of Fire?!

Then boy, oh boy, do I have the thing for you!

Since Capcom refuses to make a continuation to the series, it has fallen to us, the community, to take up the banner.

My project is looking for those who are interested in the project to lend some aid. Whether in chipsets, sounds, battle animations, or even just moral support, we're looking for you!

Send me a PM if you're interested, or simply reply to this thread!

Need help with an idea

Ok,

So I'm making a Breath of Fire game that's set in between 2 and 3. There are some places that are the same that are in 2, though. I have the demo up on the game page itself if you want to try it out before answering, but you really dont need to.

Basically, your city exploded, you wake up...(your friend carried you somewhere nearby to tend your wounds)

a:) in the ruins of gate, in a crumbling st. eva church (but one might not believe it could withstand 1000 years, which is the timeline, if it wasnt smushed by township anyway)

b:) an abandoned hunter's cottage

c:) under the boughs of the world tree that was near gate

d:) or in a mysterious dungeon that was unearthed during the chaos.

or e:) something else

Thanks in advance!

I do have the plot line mapped out to the end of the game, but not sure on this little fragment of story

Question regarding menu options rm2003

Hey, just a quick question. I'm slumming it in RPG Maker 2003 as the idea of converting my files to VX format has proved beyond daunting.

Is it possible to change the way the menu looks in terms of where boxes are? Let's say I want to throw a location box atop the already standard template and move the money box up there as well?

Greetings

Good afternoon!

Wanted to say a formal hello to all of you out there, and that I am really enjoying this site and the content there within.

A lot of you have been really helpful, and I think I've gotten the rules down pat now ^^.

I have a lot of files for FF-4 and Breath of Fire II style games if any of you need it, please just ask and it's yours!

PS: Does anyone think they might actually be a bot when it's hard to read the captcha? hehe.

BoF II-2 is hiring (for real money!)

I need someone to work with me and make some fantastic battle sprites and world map sprites for my fan sequel.

I will pay 75 dollars for the completed project, probably ten battle sprites and twenty world map sprites.

I'm not looking for just recolorization, I can do that myself, I need someone who really knows their stuff! The crux of it is that they need to be in the graphical style of Breath of Fire II.

Respond here with samples of your work if you're interested or email me at goldengaav@gmail.com.

Working on a BoF 2 style game and...

So I'm working on a sequel to Breath of Fire II, something to go in between the time gap between II and III.

I have a lot of resources, and I can make chipsets, however, I could really use any that any of you have collected or even screen grabs(rips, if you will).

I've already made Dologany, Rich Interior, Dologany Interior, Evarai Exterior/Interior, and I had some basic village stuff. What I really need are like house interiors, with things like bookcases, toilets, pianos, desks, etc, a world map chipset, and really anything else that you can think of.

I really appreciate any help.
