Well, the "User Title" field might show up under account settings, even if you haven't donated? Though, I would imagine that whatever one puts in there might not "stick", unless you have the "donator" status.

I've seen various posts about people complaining to kentona about their user-titles, as being assigned a user-title used to be the only way to get them before the "donator" status existed. However, I don't recall seeing him do that in at least the last five years out of the seven I've been a user here.

*Edit: The old adage, as far as I can tell, was, "You have to earn your user title". Or some-such. Which usually translated to saying something funny or stupid.

You are not alone! It has confused me multiple times. Fortunately, I always realize my error before I submit anything.

Though I suppose there isn't much difference between my statuses and my titles. Other than the former has more cute animal pictures involved.

I hate to break it to you, but this forum is actually full of nerds. Not a cool dude in the bunch.

I tried stuffing them all into lockers, but they persisted in nerding about! What the heck?!
