Cutscenes

Not like either. I guess it would be more along the lines of the Scarecrow scenes of Arkham Asylum, so maybe their not even 'cutscenes' in the traditional sense. That's about the closest thing I can think of to relate it to, however it is still quite different I think!

Hey bros, consider donating to the Haiti Earthquake situation.

I went to Haiti this summer, it was a pretty unique experience! The people there are as friendly as could be, and were really hospitable, despite the incredibly poor conditions.

This is a really terrible thing to have happened, we're currently trying to get into contact with the people who hosted us. Looking through some of the pictures of the devastation started to make me feel sick

What are you working on now?

Just finished another puzzle. Right now I'm testing it to make sure there aren't any bugs. Making puzzles is a slow and time consuming proccess for me...

Altaer

Sorry, this is kind of on the backburner while I work on Majesty, but it will come!

STEAM: And why you should get it right now.

Bought Braid in the holiday sale, 2 bucks! Love Steam.

Cameos

I think small visual gags and references may not be too bad, but only if they are subtle. Having Cloud walking around town or something is just a bad idea.

James. Cameron's. Avatar.

Saw it tonight.

I went into it pretty skeptical, and for the most part I enjoyed it. It was kind of nice to just turn off and let the visuals sort of wash over you. It is a little slow going in the beginning, and not too much action in the first half. It seems to play out more like a tour of Pandora, which involves some neat looking species and learning about the world. Most of it is rad, but while watching I thought there was some stuff that didn't make much sense. Nothing I can really think of pops out at me at the moment though. Second half is action, which is pretty cool and well done.

Visually, it felt like I was watching an animated movie more than a live action movie most of the time. Not to say the visuals weren't nice, because they where, however things looked almost too bright and a tad cartoony. Maybe it was just me, but again it still looked really good.

Story is just there, acting was acceptable, not noticeably bad. Music was not memorable, which is a crime, because every epic movie needs at least one memorable song. Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Jurassic Park, etc.

The movie was solid, but not groundbreaking, in terms of changing the way I see movies at least. Better than I would thought it would be anyway.

8/10

Screenshot Sesame Street (40th Anniversary Edition)

Fancy effects! The fog is a little bit on the thick side on the bottom screen though. And I don't know why, but something about the third screen just screams epic! Looks really nice and clean.
They all look good!

DS Games for Christmas

post=114681
I've asked for

Kirby's Canvas Curse because it was the only good non-RPG you guys listed that I don't already own (I own a lot of DS games already!).

Hope they can find it, it is quite rare! Awesome game though.

Video thread!

Epic commercial.
