Seraphic Blue (English)

Hey Eplipswitch, I just wanted to thank you real quick for translating this magnificent game. This post is actually sort of derivative (because I'm planning to do a full review over the next few days), but despite some problems with the gameplay I think it's one of the best stories ever told in a video game. I've been studying Japanese for about two years--not long enough to read it well, but just enough to really appreciate how ambitious/difficult it must have been to work on this.

Right now I just got to the epic cutscene at the end of chapter 18, where Lake's narrative cuts off and it switches to a new character (I think). I saw you made a blog post about retranslating certain parts as well. Since this seems like the perfect cut-off point, would you suggest stopping here to wait for the final version, or playing to the end of everything that's translated?

Star Stealing Prince

Also: I used the boss-guides too... and they were great.

Star Stealing Prince

This game was phenomenal, and from a design standpoint, probably the best thing I've played on VX. Strong story; great visuals; nice mechanics. Also, intensely challenging boss fights, and a sort of gentle, unique atmosphere. It doesn't get much better than this.
