Great flash game maker - Stencyl

I'm not sure exactly where to put this, but I found a neat game maker called Stencyl. Even though it's designed for physics games, they can be disabled to create RPG's. I would highly reccomend it.

Great article! For the "random encounter", I used the following formula:
If random number < (1-(steps since last battle)^(-0.25), have a battle (usually returns about 20).
