Mog - "Full of" is the key. The Xeno series' lifeblood is this kind of stuff.
For the record, Final Fantasy is a pretty self-important series too and I'm not a huge fan of it. The games I liked were 4 and 9. I'm not sure what I think of 3 and 5, and 10-2 and 12 were okay for me. I loved Lost Odyssey, though, for what it's worth.

Actually, they did announce Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2, to be released April 28th (in Japan), no less! That could probably get its own topic, though.
Yeah, and it looks pretty good so far. I have high hopes for it, DQJ1 was also good.
Xenocrap - I feel that way about any game full of self-important, useless symbolic BS, and the Xeno series is the worst offender in gaming. Would you prefer I use the term Evagears? Same difference. I might still get Xenoblade, as apparently it's confirmed it has no real tie to the other Xeno games other than name and team.
