I thought the bouts were a nice touch, and a good way to earn some extra cash. But you're right that this feels more like a visual novel than an RPG though. :P

The Old Mask Review

After finishing the game, "The Mirror Lied" immediately popped in my mind too. BUT it's not as confusing as The Mirror Lied, since you practically have no idea what the game really is about, but in The Old Mask, the story is much more obvious (probably with different interpretations anyways). Really enjoyed this game and it makes you think, despite having old graphics.
