OK, my thoughts on the game. I was playing in vacation mode, at if that's vacation I'm going back to word lol. The Holly's overload does not make any sense to me. Why does it have to damage allies more that enemies? Even regular foes were tough for me in "vacation" mode.
The boss I'm not even going to talk about. This game is not for an average, everyday player.
I might try it again, if tweak the difficulty, because all other aspects of the game looks good.

I just finished the game. Have to say I enjoyed playing it. Very relaxing, enjoyable experience. Also wish it would be longer. There was no bugs for me.
Dragon Quest: Legacy of the Lost
You will start where Erdrichia Forest was and you need to make your way to Erdrich Castle Town. Once there, talk
with all villagers and make your way as far north from the town as you can. Once you reach that point, a cutscene
will play and you will learn that the only way to make it to the final dungeon known as Saint’s Harbour will be to
visit the 4 sealed elemental temples. The temples are accessed by a portal that your ghostly helper will be able to
reveal to you if you get close enough. The temples are only accessible in the past.

I've just started Post Game. So as it says above I have to make my way to Erdrich Castle Town, therefore I go to Poison Marsh Cave, I assume it's the only way to Castle town.
I followed your instructions, and at the end there is a small room, where in the middle of all green goo is a big brown square. But that's it. What am I doing wrong?

Dragon Quest: Legacy of the Lost
I'm stuck in Poison Marsh Cave in Post Game. Been wondering around for hours, found 3 treasure chest and a brown square on the floor, I guess where the hole used to be before. I think I've been everywhere in this cave, so have no idea what to do. And let me tell you, the monsters here, wow, I think the Final Boss of the game was a cakewalk compared to this monkeys. Even with Arcane Benison they almost wipe the floor with me, and I'm at level 60 all.
