- Finally fixed a several year old issue where many pot graphics were replaced by that of a broken/cracked one. The prevalence of broken pots throughout the game was not intentional.


This has legitimately changed the interpretation of the world for me. I earnestly thought the pots were hinting at a crumbling civilization subtext. My theory was a fluke :(

New game+ ? Boss Rush? Guest Boss from a one of your other games or a series you're fond of? Arena? Casino/Mini-game area? not that I necessarily want or expect all of these mind you; this is just the typical things that come to mind when I think of optional and/or extra jrpg content that I like.

Worldbuilding: Heroic Edition

He views the world in a straightforward and uncomplicated way, and acts decisively based on that belief. Even if things are actually nuanced or complicated.

Like 90% of anime protaganists? I get it :P (or this could be a coincidence and then I'll feel stupid)

On a serious note, I really appreciate the effort you put into conceptualizing the world of hero's realm; as I feel far too often that post-modern fiction works' settings are made thoughtlessly on the spot and/or as they go along; with the only explanation of their origin or conceptualization being "It just IS, y'know" or something among those lines.

Too derivative for commercialization?

  • Adventure with 4 different parties that you can switch between anytime, even in boss battles!
  • Play as 4 powerful Heroes throughout a five chapter story, each with their own akillset & battle commands!
  • Customize your heroes' party by selecting from 21 unique character classes split between the mage, warrior, and rogue specialties, including unlockable "master" classes!

Not sure if these are good bullet points That sell HR unique features, but I tried :p
For what's it's worth, I think making the game menu look custom goes a long way; I've been around on steam, and the player base gets omni-pissed when they see RTP Menus. Also, advertise gameplay time, rpg fanatics love games they can dig their teeth into.

But honestly, I'm thinkin your game might sell itself considering these games' features are reminiscent of yours:
