Eternal Destiny

I played with it for a few minutes until I gave up. Not that it was terribad and all, but it sure could use some improvements. Now, on to the list of complaints:

  • This game lacks a proper introduction. I was more confused than interested when I was plopped right in the middle of the scene with no info of any sort. This may be good for other people, but for me, I need that intro. A short but concise one will greatly improve player experience.
  • This game also lacks in options. I know that some would want there hand held for them the entire playthrough, but generally that is not good.
  • You also need more dialogue and interactions with the immediate environment. Yeah, it's no easy work, but it greatly improves the quality of the game.
  • The maps need a rework. I was wandering hopelessly for some time trying to look for the next destination. The layout, for me, is generally confusing
  • Grammar, please. It's kind of an eyesore. Not that mine is perfect and all, but you still have to try your best to make it acceptable.
  • I'd also like to add an annoying thing: When I escape from battle, the enemy is still right next to me, so it triggers yet another battle, rendering the 'Escape' command practically useless. I suggest you put an 'Erase Event' under the condition of 'If Escape' in the 'Battle Processing' portion of the event.

Now, I know I am not a well-known figure in this community, and that I have no form of credibility. Heck, what am I doing? I'm a noob criticising a pro's work.
Heh, I guess it's up to you, Miss Rose, as to whether or not you listen to this noob.

Have a nice day :)

Dreaming Mary

It's fine, I understand :)

Anyway, good job with everything! I wish you luck on your next projects!
(Yes, please emphasize the 's' there. We need more games like this, and more people like you guys to make them. Keep being awesome!)

Eternal Destiny

I read a topic you posted recently, and got curious. It's the one that talks about not getting enough exposure for your games, so yeah...

I'll give the game a spin and tell you how it went for me in a while :D

EDIT: Not sure that I could see any evidence that your games are not getting exposure... I mean, look at that whopping downloads! You have four digits there!
The others, it seems are incomplete, I guess? which would be why they're not gathering as much attention as this one...

Dreaming Mary

This game is strange. Although I felt little empathy for mary/mari herself, I still got sucked in. As I played the game, all sorts of emotions came flying to and fro: impatience, anxiety, curiousity, you name it.
During my first play through, I didn't know about the multiple endings, so I passed it off as a 'meh' game with painfully cute (compliment) art and soul wracking music. With this, I was more wondering on how you made the game, because, well, it's a sidescroller and all. And I was all "c'mon mary. Walk faster!"
The next day, I decided to go through it again, and boy was I surprised! I discovered even more of the depth and darkness of the story. It made me wonder how you managed to weave such a terrible fate for a sweet little girl. And I was all "SHIT SHIT SHIT MARY RUN SHIT OH GOD SHIT RUN FASTER!!!"

Truly a game worth remembering. Well done! I'll stick around and look after your next projects ;P

PS: Some of the 'images' shown after dissing boaris look glitchy. I know it was intentional, but at first I thought my computer screen was acting up.
PPS: As is already said here, It's really kind of annoying to have to stand in this exact same spot to interact. Maybe you could tweak that on the next game?
PPPS: May I borrow some soundtracks from the game? I'll be use it for mine. It's non-commercial and I will credit properly :D
If not, then... Well... (/^\)
