I just realised how hard it is to work with two characters, and keep them both distinct and interesting...

Gourd_Clae, I'm working alone so...
But I agree. Someone has to write. Someone has to map. Someone has to event. Someone has to direct. It just so happened that that all that someone's are me...

Thanks NeverSilent!

Now that I thought about it, it is quite hard even if it's just one character. Unless of course if you're doing a dungeon crawler of some sort...

I also had to make two versions of everything. Two lines of dialogue, two distinct remarks, and two sets of puzzles and abilities unique to each...

But I'll do anything for the sake of a fun game!

I'm Feeling Creative!

I'm a loner, and I can't imagine myself working with others. Teams are also notorious for breaking down to pieces before or during production, so...

Anyway, good luck on your game!

I've only been here for two weeks, but I feel like I lived here for years.

Thanks NS!
And yes, I've seen quite a few of those people. I'm still kinda waiting for them to come back. They have no idea what they're missing out on.

Haven't really noticed that...
I guess I did poke my head in everywhere.

Good to hear that I'm starting to be recognised here :)

So I'm making a horror/mystery RPG I'd love to make it better than what it is, however I am unsure how to do that. Any tips?

Sorry if I sounded blunt.
But really, make a topic for this. You'll get more feedback this way, since people frequent the forums more.

Good luck with your project!

Edit: In case... To create a new topic, just scroll to the bottom of the forum. You should find a button labeled 'new topic'.

I'm trying to make a game but am stuck. :(

You could try breaking the game up into smaller parts. That way, it will be easier for you to work.
(It's psychology-stuff where to attain success in a large-scale goal, you have to set a 'ladder' of steps to get there. No point scaling a wall when you can build a ladder, right?)

I think you should have posted this as a topic here instead...

Well tips? Try to build a consistent and solid atmosphere.

I should be working on my next game now, but no. I'm here making this status :/

I was wondering why the game was angry. Well, I'm kinda slow so thanks for clearing that out!

PS. Does RMN loathe the letter 'e' or something?
