Don't give up on using music. There are also some music packs you could get that have some very nice sounding OOG, and mp3s. I know it's hard to find some music. I have the same problem with finding something that sounds good. Just keep looking you'll find something you like. If the size is a problem you can always shrink them down with Audacity.

I'm using raw midis out of necessity rather than want. Given the choice, I would rather run them all through SolMiRe.
Saphyr2000 is the soundfont that most sounds like my comp.
