Hey if I embarked on a quest to remake Hero's Realm as a commercial endevor would you guys support me or hate me?

If you manage to pull it off, I'd be willing to fully support such an endeavour, possibly even (*gasp*) financially.

How would that work though? Its chock full of references.

Why would you need to avoid a reference to something written in the 16th century?

Hopefully after this weekend is done...
I'm not sure if I would recommend your first Unity project being an RPG... there's so many backend systems that are included with the RM series that you have to build yourself in Unity (battles, stats, items, dialogue, events, etc.) that you could be setting yourself up for a long struggle.
Then again, I'm sure an HQ remake is probably gonna be a tough cookie anyway, so maybe just go for it! Theoretically, I might be releasing some RPG-related plugins for Unity very soon, so that might help...

It's not going to be on Unity. I just want those tutorials. RPG Maker does 95% of what I want out of the box for a game like Hero's Realm.
