This game is a hidden gem for strategy games. I hope more people are willing overlook the graphics and give it a chance.

I'm sorry you had to explain this game to your fiancee. That must've been an awkward experience. Educating people about the Wooden Ocean can be a very difficult, almost impossible task. I even have trouble educating myself about it from time to time.

Anyways, I hope you have fun playing it again one day when its finally done. (and I'll be sure to remove or replace more of the RTP at that time)

Yeah, your review is fine. It's competently made and has no grievous flaws. :D

I've been meaning to check this game out. I feel a kindred spirit to it, being open and all, and I'm glad more games like these are being made. Despite its graphics, you can tell a lot of time went into this.

Sad it uses RTP music, but hey, is what it is. I think most developers must focus on different things in order to get things done, and this one just so happened to not focus on the music. Which is a shame really, because music is something worth focusing on.

Anyways, good review, good advice, and I look forward to the developer's next game.
