What was your introduction to making games?

I started with Rpg maker 3 on ps2 back around 2006, and made crappy Zelda fan games (well couldn't really call them zelda games but oh well) Then I found XP and loved it, then I found VX and replaced XP, then I found 2k3 and 2k and loved them even more (2k3 being my personal favorite). To this day I still never have completed one project, mostly due to time and lack of inspiration, but one of these days I will finally complete something!

Backtracking: Yea or Nay?

I think replaying the whole level would more in likely be the best choice. Mostly back tracking in some cases can be harder than making it through the first time. Depending on the level of course. And beside stars are optional right? If players really want to go out of there way to get them all replaying a level to get the star adds a little more challenging. And like you mentioned, Yoshi's island a whole game about collecting hidden things made you replay the level to get everything.

Nintendo 3DS MEGATHREAD

I didn't see that part, that's actually really cool. Also anyone see the 3rd version of Yokai watch 2 coming out too? I'm particularly excited for it because I've watched gameplay of the Japanese version and it looks 100 times better than the original versions.

Nintendo 3DS MEGATHREAD

Anyone seen the new RPG MAKER coming to 3DS? Its called RPG MAKER FES, it looks like a waste of time for people who know the ins and outs of the pc versions, but honestly it does look like fun and seems to cool to be able to make a simple little rpg where ever you go. I'm gonna get it just for the hell of it.

post your picture

No picture for you lol, I'm too freaking ugly

So what's your favorite book?

Let's see I have plenty of favorites...

To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee

or if I want a horror fix

Carrie or Pet Sematary by Stephen King (Pet Sematary actually got under my skin when I read it, and still does.

Fantasy, I would have to go with the Harry Potter series, its cliche but its a great series.

Post Apocalyptic wise, I personally really liked The Maze Runner and Scorch Trials, even though I need to get around to the third book at some point.

Dante's Divine Comedy the seymour chwast comic version.

The Catcher in the Rye (probably my favorite book ever written)

---------------
Paper Towns

Looking for Alaska

The Fault in our Stars

All three of those have something in common and that is the JD Sallinger style writing, whom John Green was heavily inspired by when he wrote them.
------------------------------------
Human Nature its a good Doctor Who book and actually a good book on its own. If you like science fiction I would recommend this, even though it would help to know a little about the 7th doctor before hand.

There's plenty more that I like, I can't remember them right now.

[Poll] Is Final Fantasy 13 trilogy that bad?

I've noticed that the 13 trilogy seems to be very split, some people love it, some hate it. What's your all opinions on it?

Stage List

In an entire month, dude? I mean, you know your situation better than I do, but I didn't set this deadline to discourage anyone. You only have the one stage to clean up, too. If you really can't, that's not a problem. I still intend to fix up the stages myself in post, but it'd be helpful if you could handle your own.

Oh no the deadline isn't discouraging me, just going through a creative slump, and lost motivation. Doesn't help that I'm a little more focused on work more than ever right now, which doesn't help any neither. I'll see if I can update the level by the end of the month (I honestly forgot that I had that long), I remember last time I was in the same boat, but it worked out for me in the end. So time will tell for now.

Stage List

I'm Out I can't do it.

One More Year

Who remixed the Rpg Maker Vx battle theme 1? Because it is freaking awesome!
