Thanks for the answers guys.

Why continue a series?

I've been thinking about this for quite some time now, but why continue a series. I don't really know how to sum up the question, so let me explain. I've notice that a lot of video game sequels( or sequels in any media) have little to do with the previous game's characters. A lot of the time, the story was finished in the first game. So why make a sequel? For some games, the story isn't the reason you make a sequel/series. Some games, such as the elder scrolls series and fallout series, aren't about the story. They are about exploring a new world with complete freedom. So why make a sequel to a game that is story driven? I'm not saying that I don't like sequels, but I really curios as to why they do such a thing.

Are you going to play this at the beginning of the game?

[2K3] Looking for Help with Mapping!

I suddenly remembered that I HATED RPG Maker 2003's chipset style. Its so confusing. I don't think I'm going to be much help, but I'll keep trying.

[2K3] Looking for Help with Mapping!

I downloaded the chipset and I'll getting started. I'll try and give you some info on the map tomorrow.

Using RPG Maker, how realistice would it be to do everything non programming related

I suppose your right Kiana. I agree that the art in Touhou, while quite unique and charming, does leave a bit to be desired. But I've got to admit that starting from 12.8 or sow, the art got a HUGE improvement.

I could give it a shot if your provide the tilesets. Just keep in mind that, while I have a few years(give or take) of practice, I haven't released a game on the site. You would be taking a bit of a gamble if you want me to help with some of the mapping. If you would like me to show of my skills, I'll try and map out the human village.

One of the coolest things about the Touhou series is that most of the work is done by one man. Since RPG Maker handles all the hardcore programming, how realistic would it be to think that one person could handle art, music, and other such graphics. I know an RPG requires more resources than a bullet hell, but I'm just curious.

Visual novels for people who are terrible at puzzles

I've really be considering Walking Dead. I haven't heard much about The Wolf Among Us though. I'm not into much horror though so...
