Final Fantasy: Legend of Balance

Having played this game for awhile, I think it could be really great. Unfortunately, there's one thing that drives me crazy: the wait function. Would it be possible/feasible to alter the wait function in a way that battle time automatically halts as soon as the ATB bar of one character is full? It's such a hassle to have to go into the skill or item sub menu first in order for battle time to halt, and it really ruins my experience. As soon as reaction time plays even a minor role (even if it is just one click), it's not really a wait function the way I see it. I would be really grateful if you would implement the described wait function change. Call me lethargic or narrow-minded, but I don't want to play your ambitious game as it is right now. That's really a shame, isn't it? Maybe I'm getting too old.

Its actually a Final Fantasy feature. Even if you turned the ATB on "Wait" in the original final fantasy games, they usually still continue to fill up. What happens is that they tend to make a 'waiting queue' and that it stops the ATB from filling when someone else is doing something. The most reliable way to stop the ATB from filling is to enter a separate tab (such as the skill tab or ability tab or item tab) to freeze the ATB and let the animations roll on.

This isn't actually a problem with Lydia+Ashee's game. This is just how FF-series franchise in my experience generally acts like.

Blood Haze: Reborn

Subscribed. Not downloading this yet cause it seems like its not completed yet. I'm almost afraid that I might get cut off once I finally get into the game.

I wasn't really planning on writing a complete walkthrough because it would be a tremendous amount of work, since the game is over 30 hours long with sidequests. Instead, we've been trying to cover any places people are getting stuck or missing stuff in the FAQ section. There have also been a couple of Let's Plays of the game, though I don't know how many of them have been completed.

That said, if there's enough demand for a complete walkthrough, I can see if maybe there might be people interested on collaborating on one. I do know it's something a few people have asked for. :/
In all honesty, I was trying to make and translate a complete walkthrough guide for this game in Chinese so I can spread this game to over sea communities.

I completed a rough introduction to all the characters in Chinese. But I instantly gave up once I came to the realization that the game was 30 hours plus long, and I not only had to play through the whole thing again to compose a better guide, I had to put in sentence by sentence translations for fans overseas for them to understand the story and have a truly immersive experience.

And that was not even taking into account for the fact that I don't have any actual RTP so I could not just directly translate everything in the game, too! So it would be a massive word document with pictures and notations on everything since I am such a horrible perfectionist. Oh dear me.
Wow! Translating this into Chinese would be a huge undertaking, but I'm flattered you would even have considered it. I don't blame you for ditching the idea... though if you ever do consider translating it we could probably help you place it into the engine somehow maybe so its not just a text document (I'm not sure exactly how it would work so I won't promise you anything XD).

And if a video guide would help, I can also finish that... I got two videos through and stopped, I can probably start it up again and finish it if people want a full walkthrough via video.

It would probably increase general awareness of the game if you make such a video, and it will become much more well known.

Legend of Balance: Alternate Ending

How do we trigger this? Go to the crystal cave again after beating the normal game?

I also believe that an explanation regarding how magicite works to customize stats should be placed here.

It would also be nice if its possible to change how the magicite stat conditioning work. As it is right now, it means that all characters without a magicite equipped will always have considerably lower amount of stats than the people who did.

Example: Ifrit plus 1 strength permanently every time the character equipped with it levels up
Change into: Ifrit, grants 1 strength for every level the character equipped has. Stat changes are reverted to normal once unequipped.
