Chrono Shift

I kind of like this demo, but there are some problems with it.

-Why are you using RTP defaults for everything? At least you could just make new battle animations with the RTP or change to sounds in the System to different RTP sounds.
-When I look in the Items menu in the database, I saw that you used default items for...some reason. Why can't you just completely empty the database and replace the defaults with new stuff?
-Lastly, why, why, WHY, are the elemental attributes all set to 100% when they should be higher so that the characters' stats actually matter!?

EDIT: Almost forgot to mention this. Why do characters learn skills by simply levelling up instead of earning TP? This system should be pretty easy to implement, so this seriously bugs me.

I will post a reworked demo with these problems (and some others) fixed soon.

I'll just take these:

Level 1: Cure I
Level 2: Awaken I
Level 5: Sight I
Level 6: Holy I
Level 8: Purify I
Level 12: Vox I
Level 13: Cure II
Level 15: Smite I
Level 18: Holy II
Level 20: Realize I
Level 22: Heal II
Level 25: Smite II
Level 27: Life I
Level 32: Cure III
Level 36: Holy III
Level 39: Recover
Level 41: Heal III
Level 43: Smite III
Level 48: Life II
Level 55: Divine Spirit

Actually, I'll learn Divine Spirit after my sidequest in Chapter 5. It fully heals the party, so this is my way of keeping it from being a gamebreaker.

By "fully heals the party", I actually mean it heals full HP/MP and cures every status ailment in existence, including death.

I also thought of how I'd join the party in Chapter 4.

WARNING: This is very long, so if you wish to read, please bear with me!

When the player gets three of the characters in said chapter (Linkforce, Orpheus, and Savage, right?), they are told that a teenage priest-in-training recently disappeared.

Sadly, that priest is me.

So the party also gets a clue about where I could be (forest close to town), and they suit up and go there.

The forest is dense, but thankfully straightforward; the party just has to remember which path goes where. Around halfway through the forest, they start hearing a faint, mysterious voice. Further inward, however, the voice gets clearer. At the end of the forest path, the party sees me (the missing priest) on my knees.

It gets worse from there; my dark self is in front of me (sound familiar?). He starts blabbing about my various faults, and I keep rejecting him, until he blabs a huge fault of mine AND says that he's me and I'm him in front of everyone. At that point, I scream something like "You're not me!".

My dark side goes berserk and transforms into a grotesque demon (or something else that represents my level of snarkiness and jackassery), I collapse onto the ground, and Linkforce and company have to fight it. After my dark side is defeated, I manage to get the energy to get up, and gather the heart to face it myself. I tell him that he's right, and I can't change it because he came from me. Satisfied, he shatters to pieces, and I briefly glow white, allowing me to use Divinity. Then I join the others to help them.

Final Tear 1

Why Final Tear 1 after Final Tear 3? :P

Didn't the maker say that already?

Yep, I'm now polishing the game. Because this game is made in 2000/2001 it contains a lot of errors and other stuff, like silly events. Treasures that do not open etc.

I think the game will be released middle July or something.

My personality:
I'm slightly forgetful, a devout believer, hard to frighten, and snarky (when someone does something morally wrong), but otherwise enjoyable. I also run my mouth fairly often, but I know when to shut up.

I'm also a jackass to others who are jackasses to me. Think something like this:

Mirage: So...have you thought of learning white magic?
Chaos: No.
Mirage: Um, okay. What about support magic?
Chaos: Why the hell would I support others?
Mirage: It's morally the right thing to do. Didn't your mother teach you that?
Chaos: No. Now fuck off!
Mirage: You know what? YOU FUCK OFF! (bashes Chaos with a staff)

This is just an example, but this can happen in-game, just so you know.

Characters are taken, but there are plenty of NPCs and monsters :)
How about I be an NPC at first (maybe during the first three chapters?), but at the beginning of Chapter 4, I become an actual playable character (alongside others)?

As an NPC...:
I will provide healing items, status-curing and revival services, and save everyone else's game. I would probably be found at these places:

1. the local town church (obviously)
2. the beginning (and end) of a dungeon
3. just before the boss of said dungeon

As a PC...:
My level would be equal to the average of the other three leaders' levels (use EXP, not levels, though!), or it would be at 1 if you don't want me as an NPC (but only in that case).

So what do you think?
The events of the four chapters occur at the same time and feature a different four characters, so I'm not sure if that would work out.

Then just make me a PC at Chapter 4 at level 1.

EDIT: I was born in the Island of Mages.
