RPG Maker Games on Retroid Pocket 2

Not sure if any of you have heard of the Retroid Pocket 2, but I have it, and I found out how to play RPG Maker XP games (and other RPG Maker versions) on my little hand held system :) Get JoiPlay in the app store. I struggled with setting up the controls a while back, but got it nailed down. I was pretty excited about this!

So fun! Anyone else have that system? What do you play on it?

Also, I figured out the perfect controls in JoiPlay, at least to play my game on it.
First Button: A
Second Button: ENTER
Third Button: ESCAPE
Fourth Button: Q
Fifth Button: SHIFT_LEFT
Sixth Button: R

There is a little bit of lag in this app, but it's still really exciting.

At what point do you declare your project "finished"?

Coming from someone who keeps obsessing about tweaking and polishing every little thing before letting go and stepping down, at what point do you take that step? Do you obsess over your project even after finishing it? Do you keep thinking of things to add? Does it ever become almost an unhealthy obsession? Lol, it’s hard to move on from a project but I feel like I’m almost at that point.

My wife and I are expecting a new baby girl this fall and I’m just ready to put all my projects aside for a while and sit back. I think I can finally relax for a bit on my latest project, Above Hell.

Just curious what triggers everyone to say, “ok, I am done with this project and ready to put it aside...”

Dark Escape: Video demo of my table top board game

Hey there! Along with my library of RPG Maker games I've created, I also like to create table top board games.

Here is a video demo of my latest completed one:

I do music too. I created the music in this video back in 2007.

Thanks! :)

Not new...but I figured it was about time to say "hi".

My name is Jon and obviously, I'm a huge RPG Maker nut. I mostly dink around with RPG Maker XP. I have actually created a TON of completed games over the past decade...learning more and more with every project.

I am 25 years old now, in college for "art education" because I want to teach art to high school someday! I've been in college for the past 6 years, mainly because the first two years, I spent in a community college not having a clue what I wanted to do. Then I transferred to a university and THOUGHT I knew what I wanted to do. After two years in the psychology major, I changed majors to Art Ed. And I couldn't be happier with my decision :)

Quite honestly, I am an obsessed artist. I am also a musician and I have created more than 20 albums. My music used to be awful because we all gotta start somewhere, right? But I'm pretty happy with my sound now because I've learned so much over the past decade of making music. It's not always everyone's cup of tea, but I've learned to accept that everyone has different taste in music. Its mostly got a rap/rock feel to it, most songs filled with strong emotion, mostly anger or heart break, etc...

I have also created my own music videos. Even though I'm a total newb at this, and I don't have the greatest camera, I still LOVE putting imagery to my songs.

Anyways, that's me! I also have three adorable basset hounds who live with my parents so when ever I go home for weekends, I get ambushed by hugs and kisses from the pups, haha.

Here's the game that I am most proud of: "Under World 3"

Question...

So what happened to the review that a member submitted on this site last week? Does anybody around here have the ability to accept/decline reviews? Is there a reason why the review that a user wrote for my game won't get accepted or published on the site? If an admin or someone could get back to me with an answer, I would really appreciate it.

I don't mean to sound fussy or upset, but I'm just eager to finally get a review on my game after a year of waiting. Thanks!
