To be quite blunt, I hate the appearance of most of these screens. The characters are blurry, and don't fit the RTP tiles. The Major attack has a white anti-alias look all around it, and the battlers and monsters are all WAY to small vs the background. To me, it looks like you converted some good looking graphics wrong, slapped them into your game, and copy/pasted some scripts in. Obviously I could be wrong, and please feel free to let me know if I am, I just needed to say it. Also, I notice that you say it will have all of this original artwork, so perhaps these are all just placeholders/WIP's? Anyways, don't take any of this too harsh, it is meant to act as constructive criticism, even if it does come off a little harshly.

I just have to ask, what program or language is this made in?

...It would be nice if you would elaborate on it a little bit. You might be at risk of the mods taking down the page otherwise.
