No tears for the creatures of the night, bitch PLEASE. - TuxedoMane
I'm Nurvuss and I like making music and games and writing stuff. Sometimes it seems that I never have enough time to do any of these things. Let's be pals!

Cool (And Not So Cool) Looking User Interfaces
The menu for the original version of Persona was a bit (ok, very) clunky, but I had a great deal of affection for its planetary motif.
edit: In case it's not obvious, the planets orbit the central command "sun", as the player presses left and right.
Suikoden Series

That's a very broad question. What kind of programming? RPG Maker VX Ace uses a variation on Ruby called RGSS, but you probably won't need to touch it if you're just getting your head around the system.
Suikoden Series
Basically you're saying that you are going to do the following:
* Recreate all of the character (over 108 unique, plus NPCs), object, enemy and location graphics of a 40+ hour PS2 game in 2D
* Implement Suikoden 2's party and battle system
* Implement Suikoden 3's skill system
* Flesh out 108 characters
* Recreate the game's centrepiece of a headquarters that doubles as a seafaring vessel with a sailing system
* Recreate the game's many, many minigames: including-but-not-limited-to dousing for treasure, dice, mouse catching, Mahjong, etc.
I don't mean to keep you off your grind, but do you realize what a gargantuan task this is? Suikoden 4 took a team of one hundred people three years to develop. Recreating it from scratch would be monumental for a paid team of professionals, let alone RMN forum users.

Issues with downloading files?
Hey gang!
I decided that today would be the day that I take part in the Strawberry Review Jam, so I attempted to download a few games I had not played before. I'm getting some verrrry slow download speeds from the site--like over an hour to download a 75mb file.
I've checked my connection and it seems like everything is fine on my end--I'm getting download speeds of 1mb/s elsewhere.
Is this a known issue? Or am I just having a weird day? Thanks!

Cambridge English:
You type pretty naturally for somebody who learned English as a second language. Your grammar is pretty good, too. I can't imagine you'll run into many problems!
