The Optimal RM2k/3 Number Guide

Are we dead yet? Nah, there's still people using 2k3, good.

Is VR Killing the JRPG?

I think that article and maybe others want to push VR as the next standard, but there is no need for that, since it has its limitations. It's not a format for any kind of game, or not one where anything would benefit, as others have said. You can make a First-Person RPG and it would probably go pretty well, but it's not necessary to make ALL RPGs first person or do some wowie things with VR, that easily becomes just a $150+ gimmick.

Still, I don't see the "push" they talk about, only experimental crap (that probably is fun indeed), but that might be biased by the fact that I still play mostly old games. Or indies. They will try to capitalize on Alyx I guess, because "Valve always does it right".

But again, I don't trust them, they're pushing a narrative that makes VR the next thing, and marking others as outdated just because they haven't jumped into the hype wagon.

Reviewing for Dummies

Hahaha, nope, I would never do that :P. Google is not efficient, as it makes huge unnatural mistakes ahaha (I use it only as dictionary).

Thanks for your response, time and permission,

Reviewing for Dummies

I'm planning of doing a derivative of this article (mostly is about the points you use, because is kinda loose version what I got written by now haha). I like the reviewing activity, so I'm like trying to promote it hahaha.
I do it as a derivative mostly because I'm doing it for a non-english community, so if I try to translate it, most of the "original spirit will be gone".

I'm awaiting response, I don't like to make things... like... that way,

Custom Tech Targeting

Yeah, it can be done (at least I think so). It does need two variables for it to work, for every character, to check each character's MP change (oh my god, why have I never saw that option? ahahaha). After all it's a little more of code commands, but it has less limitations (unless you have a very-low-digits game, and your most expensive technique uses something like 12mp).
So, I suppose that, for this tutorial to be complete, I'll add that thing in there.

Thanks for the reply,

Diagonal Movement (Without using precious number keys!)

The only thing that will not work well with this system are the normal area/map encounters, because movement caused by events is never counted for the step count.
Also, the user must remember to have "ignore if can't move" checked. If not, the movement will "freeze" constantly.

Nice contribution, cheers,
