I'm 22 years old, just graduated college for Game Design. I focus on narrative design in my games, and hope to begin making games within my own universe!

I prefer RPG's out of all the genres, but love exploration and puzzle games.
Perspective: Extended Ed...
Exploration Puzzle game, spectate the memories to find clues!

So yeah, a little info. I finally sat down to work on Perspective(First half of break, I actually took a break... wow). But I sat down and finished the cast of character graphics for this memory.

It probably won't mean anything to you now, of course. This is a progress shot mostly. You don't know any of these people, but you will. I've got three more memories to prepare graphics for. I left my level plans at college, so I can only finish mapping this desert level. I'll wait till I get back to map the other three, so I'll be making character graphics until then!

Working alone, while trying to finish all the games I'm playing right now. Still have to finish Birth By Sleep, Kingdom Hearts 2 Final mix, and kingdom hearts Dream Drop Distance(My PS3 stays home, so I can't play once I go back to college). I am so busy.

I do have a few options for plants and had it in my mind for some reason to keep this plant for Amalasuintha, this plant for decoration in Lusi, etc... that's silly hah, I'll actually add some variety. The garden boxes... I think there's some in the tileset, I'll try them out.

And the desk, in order to make it long, I had to use a tile A version. There is a smaller version that can fit on top of rugs in Tile D but that won't do. So no it can't fit on the carpet :P.

My skills with graphics are limited to where all I can do is edit them a bit. For example, I'm working on the Savel Desert map and I think I'm going to have a separate tileset for it, putting in different tents then what the tileset gives. Then I plan on changing the stone base of lampposts to a different color of stone. I can do recolors, and flip the objects horizontally. I can't create anything from scratch though.

I hope to have an artist who would enhance all things graphics in the future. For now, I have to do the best I can with this *shrug*, it works pretty well.

I need an opinion. Too many plants? I mean I wanted each door to have two plants outside of it. They love their decorations :P

Mr. Pharell is quite stressed by the amount of patients that just walked in...

@Everguardtechnically it's fanart, but I think I'm gonna try to incorporate it in some way. maybe as something in the game, or a banner of some sort?

How about you have some sort of concept art gallery offered, and you can unlock art as you go through the game. It's a idea I was going to use for my game(Except in the form of a actual, physical map acting as the gallery) but I don't have anyone to make art for me, like you do heh. You can have a script that opens up menus to show the pictures, or you can have what I said, a physical gallery map, where the character can walk up to pictures on the wall and view them then.

It's just an idea though, a way I think it would be cool to show art in the game.

Looks improved from the other picture(original, now deleted), definately. The allies are in midstep though. Very interesting scene, makes me want to play this chapter when it comes out.

I disagree, it looks very nice, and you chose appropriate monster graphics(Black Spheres), they seem to fit with the environment, not stand out, you know?

Auria is one of my favorite characters in these rpg games as well, she has a well made character sprite. I would try to even out the good and bad by adding some bad things I see in it but I don't :/. Just my opinion.

Mixing modern tiles and the RTP doesn't look good at all. And, it sort of ruins the atmosphere of the game. Walking around and seeing this medieval-like world then BAM, toilet and bathing tub.

I agree, I didn't catch those the first time I looked, but now that I notice them, they look sort of out of place. Maybe this world has really good plumbing?

I'm going to re-make the beginning maps and use the beginning setting for my first screenshots. Then once battles are starting to be made I'll do some screenshots. Right now, because of the past changes, I don't have anything real to show you. The menus are done, but I've got no map to be on anymore. I can't show you sprites of all the characters, can I? And I've gotta remake a title screen for this game.

It walks you through the first temple, it's just a little direction -_-
