I usually care more for the story of a game than the gameplay when it comes to RPG adventure games, but it does add to the game if one can do sidequests other than the main quest, more playable characters is usually fun, but it's also good if it was a single character fighting alongside awesome allies.

And yes, dating elements. Definitely a plus. (Saw that up there, slashed out, but then I thought that if it was slashed out instead of deleted or removed then maybe it is being considered?) To make people happy (because some people are totally anti-romance or all for adventure and no romance - there may be people who don't prefer the heroine to be with anyone), maybe there's an option for whether or not you want to go for a romantic or friendship or neutral route with someone.
It is one of the popular aspects of Harvest Moon, Rune Factory, and Fire Emblem (Fates and Awakening, not too sure about the others) There seems to be not much of that here, and since this has multiple endings, then this would contribute to that as well, so no harm done onto the original plot. Well... to be certain, maybe the dialogues may change when their relationship level goes higher and the story is definitely different depending on the people's relationships with one another... Maybe subtle changes to a few dialogues in general.

I admit that I haven't played most of it beyond the start of their adventure (So maybe there are dating elements and sidequests that I just haven't seen at all yet), as I would like to see this completed before I play it ultimately, because it looks so interesting. I'm not really good at giving advice and suggestions, I just would like to say these...

Lol actually the "Dating elements" being slashed out for plot progression was meant to be a joke. Kinda like in anime when they refer to a girl's boobs as being the PLOT.

Yes, I had to redo everything, but because of that, many things got fixed, like the art, and the story and just general functionality of the game.

The story got rewritten a bit and I like it way better now.
The art got redone and I like it way better now.
Scripts got replaced with plugins and I like it way better now.

Before I would have to find a lot of workarounds for things especially for incompatibilities in scripts. The Ace version of this game was very broken, you'd be surprised with how much I had to do in the background of scenes to make things appear to work... they didn't. It was frustrating at times.

So basically, I had to redo it, but now it looks better, it works better, it has a better story, better characters, and much more lively world. Worth.

When I said add things, I didn't really mean I would load the game up with features just for the sake of features but to expand what's there.
For instance, I was trying to add more strategy to fights so that it could be more than just spam attack to win. Or adding new side quests for rewards and to make less need for grinding.

pbjelly246, nice work. It's a very relaxing game to tinker around with. Just wanted to bring to your attention this error I keep getting. I wonder if others get this as well.

The error should be fixed now. But the spacing is an issue with the font, I don't really know how to mess with that.
