Hello everyone, I am Shamuer also known as The Primodori.
I am autistic, but I enjoy playing games and stories. For a while I had been making my own stories and thanks to RPG Maker I could start crafting them in games. My knowledge of the program is limited sadly; because of lack of knowledge all my stuff are just but prototypes.
Most of all I am not an English speaker, my knowledge of the language is limited but I try to do my best.
I am alone on making my projects and got no one to help me so I mostly learn on the run.

your maps are so empty - fill it with goodies to find when examining boxes/statues/vases...

I know that, I am not good at certain things. Like with dungeons. I try to design dungeon maps, but it seems i cant be that creative for most i try given that my train of thoughts is linear. That's why most of dungeon maps are so simple in all my games.
I can do puzzles, but just the field layout... it just doesn't come to me. it is my flaw.
Grammar, that is my fault. English is not my first language, and I don't work with a script so yeah there is bound to be spelling errors. I try to correct all i can but i my self as none English speaker, don't know certain natural sentences English speaking people know.

Overall, thank you for the review, this actually is helpful for me, mostly for when working with episode 2. Please keep it coming.
I just hope the story so far was fun. I didn't want it to be so difficult to people this time so they can enjoy the story. Would had preferred if battles was 3rd person view. Sadly know nothing of scripting.

P.S.
LoL, the angry house wives was mostly an Easter egg joke. Given on how Japanese housewives are on convenience stores, specially on sales. Its a battle field!!!
The dogs, well just needed something realistic for combat on modern times so rabid dogs would had been best choice.

slimer learns 2 poison moves that do the same thing? only difference is one costs magic and the other tp

going by the plot isn't it odd you fight slimes? shouldn't all your enemies be human?
this start is a bit disappointing thinking of the potential the idea it could of had.

we got defeated XD i was prepared for that to be the end of the game :3 glad it continued!

i think a slime wont get better from resting in a bed. perhaps in a pool or something.

mirias tower progression design is bad. your supposed to kill death. the grim reaper looking sprite.
but he can walk thru walls...so you may be sitting there for a while if unlucky waiting for the bastard to come to you >.>

why does miria have 2 skills that confuse all enemies?
and nuclear is a physical damage move right? miria focuses on magic damage. this is bad!
it even costs more then the other skills!


having the formation available breaks the cut scenes :3

the succubus could of just charmed them all at the end XD she is a dangerous demon :3

lvl 20 is max! its always nice to see a good level cap. its pointless to have it at 99 or otherwise unreachable or even needed levels

The best part of this game was the plot foundation. other then that this was a bad-okay experience.
over half of it was battles vs monsters which made no sense.
the skill sets for the characters needs work
the grammar needs work

The concept of monsters getting revenge has potential but it wasn't touched here.
instead we get a mostly generic experience.
having it more plot based as one direction would of been way more enjoyable...
the thoughts of the monsters,how humanity effects them,past experiences with flashbacks.the culture of monsters...so much that would of been interesting cast aside for mindless turn based battles.
i am just disappointed.

bad-okay game have low expectations.

Sigh, I am sadly to say I have to answer like this to respond.
First of all thanks for the constructive critic, it will help me in the future. But the grammar would be expected since i had said in my bios that I am no american nor english speaker and I work on these projects alone.
Second:

1) The game was made like this on purpose.
2) The game is supposed to be short, one-plot based and entertaining.
3) Like with humans, there are good monsters and bad monsters; and different clans. I had seen stories of monsters fighting between themselves many times for survival, even their own kind that rebel against. "Re:Monster" is one of them stories.
4) I was trying some things with this small project.
5) The plot is a rail-line on purpose. I wasnt intending on expanding, just going to the point. Human heroes burn monster village, rare/special slime monster decide to bring justice and goes off to find who is responsible. And that was it, his quest to reach the 3 heroes and get at them. That was the plot intended, the rest is just extra. I wasnt intending on character development because it was going to break the game's purpose.
6) Formation thing is unfortunate. How ever I have no control of that given that how events are settled, there is no 'follow the main character' if the overworld sprite changes on who is first on the menu lead. If there was an option to detect the difference and always put main character on view regardless who leads on top in menu without scripting i would already be using it.

In conclusion; I am working on games in my spare time, not to gain any profit. I always want my games to be fun and enjoyable regardless if it comes out professional or not. Its for fun and enjoyment. I am a single person working on these projects not a team so there is a limit i can do by my self so it annoys me when people still shoves it in me about that. Can't people just enjoy the damn thing without wanting it to be perfect as if it was for sale?


Regardless, I apologize for any misunderstandings and I thank you again for your instructive commentary.

Villainous: World Conqueror Chronicles

Did test it many times.
Summon special, tried to fix that but always gave me problems.
The republic guards from beginning they r supposed to be weak.
I on purpose made the game get harder if you go into the dark path and easier if you stay neutral. If you kill everyone and stay alone... that is a consequence you have to follow.

Everything I am doing, am doing in event menus since I know zip of scripting, and I am one person so I at least try to aim for decent rather than perfect. I am autistic so there is so much i can take alone.
this mostly shows on the duel system. I am mimicking suikoden, but to do it a 100% similar, i need to know scripting for the attack variations and comments and the life bars.
So I did it with pictures and event menus since is my limit.
I had big plans for this, but given that I am just one person and my knowledge is limited there is not much i can do.

Villainous: World Conqueror Chronicles

this prototype is completed. sadly i am just one person and to bring out what i want its going to be hard for one. Also i was planning on making it longer pass the second fight with the heroes but i reached the upload limit allowed so had to leave it there.

don't know how to make a decent complete game that is less than 300mb.

PS; most of the choices has same end dialog, what changes is the affinity to light or dark and affection to certain characters which leaves to certain consequences.
This story was the origin of slave 1903, i was planning on expanding from him.

Thank you, and yeah i am aware of some glitches the game had. They didn't want to go away for more that i worked on it... quite the head ache this game was; and my first official one published.
English is not my first language so some grammar might come out bad.
I am planning on another Doctor Who game but it still in concept.
Plus there are other games on the table right now for consideration.

I am on need for tile sets of modern society for a small project i am working on. Outdoor, Indoor; specially one that has stuff for schools for RPG Maker VXAce.

Ya' know, I've been thinking about this for a while; while working on trying to figure out and trying to find info about it... (since I am no good as scripting either).

I have noticed that the default RTP for character sprites currently has a set that says 'big monster' and I can use them on events and they show up full when running the game.

I tried to import my own set of bigger sprites but when I try to select them the grid is still standard of default and cuts off the sprites.

Is there a way to expand the grid so the bigger sprites can be seen whole?
(This would help specially for the TARDIS).
