Quite frankly, I love the work you did here and I think I can expect great things from Growling Garden. If I had to find any problem with this game, it's that I'm bothered by your spelling at times. I would complain about the movement speed, but that's why you put the taxis.

It looks really cool! :O This approach does make it look more authentic (as opposed to copy-pasting the sprites). If you don't mind me asking, how long did it take you?
Ten minute per tree if i like the results and don't have to redraw. But a lot of time takes brainstorming the composition - took me a whole day to figure out the style of the trees, whether the scene will have a horison lines, ground, texture etc. I'm very picky :)
So i guess it's tough at start abd not too bad once i do one object and have to do similar of same kind.
